Despite the cold, gloomy weather, it was an exciting early December weekend in København. The holiday atmosphere was in full swing. Christmas at Tivoli Gardens, a tradition among København residents and a sight to see for tourists, was packed with people. The Strøget was filled with excited holiday shoppers. An extra buzz was in the air as F.C. København was set to host the final round of the UEFA Champions League qualifying that night. All the more exciting, the match was against Malmö FF, a fellow Scandinavian team and Swedish rival separated by less than 50 km across the Øresund strait.

In the hours leading up to kickoff, a hush suddenly came about the F.C. København fan club, gathered at the pub just outside the stadium. Their team flag that spans several sections of Parken Stadium and a fixture among pre-game celebrations was found torn to pieces and partially burned. The fan club brass not only didn't take kindly, but vowed revenge.

The game went off without a hitch, and København secured a 2-0 victory putting them through to the knockout stages of the Champions League. In the euphoria leaving the stadium a commotion broke out. The leaders of the fan club singled out a local København resident who had connections to the Malmö FF fan club. He was seen wandering near the pub in the hours prior to the København fan club gathering at the pub by some of the fan club members. He was hauled off by car and taken to the dark alleys of the Meat Packing district for questioning by fan club leaders. Unable, or unwilling, to provide information, the leaders left him for dead in the alley.

This shit is townie as hell, regardless of either AJ's alignment. Quitting an easy lynch to push a town wagon would make no sense from scum. If AJ is town, then he's a PR and scum supposedly just gave up the opportunity to be rid of a town PR. If AJ is scum, it's really fucking ballsy to change the wagon whilst being his scum partner, not to mention something that could easily screw him over later.
