Seniors - TBH I never looked closely given so many people were "on the case" so needs review. Did not have a specific town read here

Cakez - stale read, thought he looked pretty town early but didn't disagree when someone pointed out it seemed shallow
Tictac - can't remember the last thing he posted, probable active lurker type scum
Sakura - Don't remember anything that I thought was scummy, think she's a town read but haven't been thinking about it much
TWL - Would need to refresh my memory, think I've seen both good and bad

It definitely depends on how they presented their argument for not lynching. In Mirhawk's case, there's a legitimate fear that it comes from knowledge town doesn't have. In that case, definitely not giving towncred. There's not a binary answer to this.

I'll be honest, I started to townread Mirhawk after this. He saw a flaw in logic, was calling people on it, and then when I explained my logic, and he didn't see a flaw in it, he conceded that I had a fair argument. I don't see town bending like that.


I don't like his position on Ranger (or at least didn't like it), but I'm still holding out the possibility that he's town. FS, on the other hand, I'm basically sold on.

I was scum reading Mirhawk and had voted him before the miller thing because he was pushing on me for my early questioning. It felt like scum trying to look like scumhunting while staying off the major wagons. Then his reaction to others pushing him on miller seemed pretty genuine, and I don't really like those knee-jerk "ooh, he knew too much so it's a scumslip" kind of cases. I'd be willing to compromise there as we get closer to deadline but have my doubts.

Seniors and Mirhawk are town's highest scumreads, and frankly I think Seniors is obvscum. No longer sure about Mirhawk, but if I were to put odds on it, I think FS is 80%+ likely to be scum and Mirhawk is somewhere around 50/50.

The chances both coming up town with those odds are 1 in 10. I'm willing to take those odds. If my odds don't work for you, that's fine, but that's how I came to my conclusion.


Basically I'm saying that if Ranger is scum here, they aren't deflecting from our highest scum reads in order to get towncred (since she replaced into a suspicious slot). In that case, scum should choose the townie to kill if there is one. So we should lynch the other.

Call it newbieness, but I townread the fuck out of her reads progression. It came off as stream of consciousness, with no barrier. It takes time to come up with lies that benefit scum, and frame your posts in ways that it's hard for town to pick at. Her post rate was too fast for her to fabricate everything, so I thought it was obvtown. Seeing so many people take problem with it, though, I've started to reconsider.

Reads list coming up. She's been knocked down a few pegs since the quoted post.

Where were the few times you explained it? Pretty sure you answered and I responded. I haven't played much with Sakura either, but her wanting to sort nacho right away is standard. If you haven't played with someone I don't know why it would even spark your notice. Furthermore, you pointing out that nothing was out of the ordinary when he hadn't posted beyond a couple rvs posts feels off.

Right now my concern is that you are either scum with nacho and you did some early discrediting to stop someone from sorting him or you're scum trying to get on his good side.

It seems a simpler answer to me that Mala misremembered Sakura's early approach towards me in games (which was what her initial response to you was about); if we were scum together, I think that I probably would mention to her the people who I was expecting to be specifically trying to read me, and if she was trying to get on my good side, I don't really think that it would look like this?

Saying that I hadn't done anything out of the ordinary is equivalent to me not doing anything alignment indicative which means you two are saying exactly the same thing about my early posts unless I'm missing something big.

No, it had nothing to do with you doing anything alignment non-indicative. Seeing that mala has people that she herself focuses on early game, it felt off that she attacked someone else for wanting to sort someone. Her attack on her in the way she did it didn't feel like it was used to sort Sakura at all (why would she, if she hasn't played with Sakura, think it's odd that she wanted to sort you anyway?) Then she stepped in the midst of Sakura's sort by telling her you hadn't done anything out of the ordinary. It just did not feel right.

You - Didn't like your push on FS at first. But after going over your ISO overall your other questions and activity look town to me.

FS - I don't like the amount of time they spent complaining about your (BBoy) push on them. I also don't like that they are scum-reading me off one post. They like Ami's case on me even though that consists of Ami not liking my questions and assigning a scum motivation to it. EP and Hippy have both played with me before so they know how I am D1 in a large. Their position on me feels a lot like a slot keeping their options open to be able to jump on a

Ranger - feels town. Ranger just got in the game and spent some time reading and putting forth reads as she went along. The posts read as open and forthright to me. I want to see more as we go along but for now, I'm not interested in lynching Ranger today.

I will say I think the "EP" head sounds better than the "Hippy" head? At least, as best I can tell, I think most of the posts I don't like seem to be coming from that one, but that could just be the one head not being as good at being scum as the one head just being more Townie. And even the EP head appears to have defaulted to a "Sheep" vote behind another player, so that's not particularly great either.
