I'm just gonna quote things I've seen said against Seniors so they have some direction to defend themselves. If you've already answered some of this stuff, I apologize. Since we're down to a fast deadline, I'm trying to work quickly.

Seniors is scum because

-Initial Snarky vote in 96 was terrible. This has been hashed over a lot but basically both players should have known Snarky is lynchbait and that was a terrible vote.

-263 case on me was a boatload of misrep, went over this in 275

-Podo case stinks in 479. Nothing there is actually scum-indicative.

-Basically throws a temper tantrum and stops doing anything to scumhunt in 651. 665 is another bad vote follow up.

-845 is a dumptruck of useless questions because ??? Trying to look like they are doing something is what I think.

-855 makes no sense. "Hard skimming, makes sense for him to be town" lol what

-In 1256, calls Ranger town. 1465 Ranger is meh. 1467 says "why us over Ranger", basically calling Ranger a scumread. 1474 votes Ranger

-1615 - waits for three other people to vote me before actually voting. Looks like scum making sure the wagon goes somewhere.

-1639 - back to "don't want to lynch Ranger". ???

-1654 - discredits their entire wagon, calls everyone on their wagon shitty/scummy. Terrible reaction.

They don't know who visited them, and the fruit doesn't actually exist or do anything. In this case, the "fruit" is a "wig".

Basically, it's a safe fake claim for any scum role that has a targeted effect that doesn't affect the targets actions, like a scum rolecop for example.

That's what I was inclined to think, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some strategy here. More importantly, this doesn't correspond with the flavor claiming stuff you were talking about earlier, correct?

"Snarky vote is scummy because snarky is lynchbait" is terrible. Think about it- the picture people are trying to paint is that we have scummotivation to get snarky mislynched. I don't understand how scum-us would reasonably expect this to happen when it's literally that early in the game, and if I recall correctly, hippy's vote was a naked vote, it's not like we were casing him.

"Cakez case is bad" is also terrible. Even if the case was bad, that doesn't even make us scum. Secondly, the case isn't bad. You're not evaluating your reads with respect to associative tells.

"Podo case is bad" is acceptable, but 1) hypocritical considering the case on us has a bunch of NAI things and 2) it actually isn't NAI but I assume we'll just agree to disagree. And note how a lot of it can be explained from game disconnect, and I considered podo's response to that question adequate, meaning that yes, I no longer scumread podo.

Sorry, I misspoke. It's not a safe "fake" claim. It's a power to give to a scum slot that would make town believe they're not scum that is "safe" for them to claim. That's all. Goon with neutral utility power in the hands of town, that makes people think they're definitely not scum because why would there be a scum fruit vendor.
