a read does not require interactions. It helps (especially for me as I read through genuiness) but it is possible to get reads without directly talking to.someone. you have talked to me multiple times but still no.read given. Why?

Different people get reads in different ways. I tend to get reads through ISO mapping. Nacho and Sakura would have been able to read each other better if they'd had time to interact in real time while she was still in the game. I don't understand why this is hard for you to understand, since you're not a reading the game type player, you're a talking to people type player.

I swear this is like my phantomcobalt read in the blitz. I had reasons to townread him, having ICed him and modded him. I have ~reasons~ to townread tictac. Nacho agrees.

The sentence I dissected is an example of you setting up a situation where ~regardless of what I do~, you can scumread me.

I don't really know what to tell you because my reads are what they are.

I guess with the skybird read, I started looking through her ISO knowing that Marquis and Nacho were scumreading her and that affected the process but I still think she's scum. I know Nacho approached Mirhawk in a similar way on day 1 when he first entered the thread, because he was aware of my own reads.

I don't usually have trouble creating natural sounding reads as scum, not depth of thought.

I did get a lot of heat for my reads in the blitz: my correct kt read, doubting my kt read at the wrong moment, my correct reads on ankamius, phantomcobalt, expedience, and sakura/titus got me in a lot of trouble too. they didn't sound plausible. they didn't fit with the game state that everybody else was seeing. everybody else was wrong. you were scum, so maybe you didn't notice. but anti/gorkington/talah/wisdom and some others probably, they didn't see where i was going with it or didn't see what i saw or believed what scum was saying about me. Sometimes that happens in a game. Other games my reads mostly match up with other people's or I have a few people I'm in sync with.

We aren't going to know until there are some flips which of us is right. It is probably true that we are each partially right; that's how it tends to go in games that I've modded: nobody is fully right but there is time for course corrections and people get it right in the end or they don't.

1) This is a hydra. We have one people person and one sits in the middle of the spider web waiting for motion person. i'm the latter.
2) making an ISO map takes a lot of time and i won't have iso maps of every slot until much later in the game. I prioritise ISO mapping in a bunch of different ways. While Sakura was in the game, there was the belief that Nacho and her would be able to sort each other when they had time and then I could sheep Nacho's read on her. Making an ISO map of Sakura would make as much sense as making as ISO map of Tammy. A waste of time when I have Nacho.

If you can't tell us apart, then it doesn't matter all that much: we are both collectively responsible for the behaviour of our slot. If you know one of us well enough to be able to read that head and not the other, then you know us well enough to tell us apart. If you don't then you don't.

But if one person says "I'm a people person" and the other person says "I'm not the one who is a people person" that's...us signing in a way actually.

Pied Piper feels like Ranger 2.0 again. I'm getting the same gut town feelings, the same feeling of scum piling on for weak reasons, the same counterwagon to Mirhawk. I can also towncase them like Ranger but it's more gut then Ranger was due to the large amount of just words in their posts. I'd really rather not lynch PP today.
