Kassadin feels super nice right now, and I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up meta. My games as him haven't all been wins, but every game so far he's felt ridiculously strong. All that free CDR, and the hourglass cost decrease helped him out a ton.

Like his major problem has always been his ramp up time. With the item changes he comes online a lot quicker, and gets CDR for free which was always extremely good on him but kinda awkward to build.

Having level 6/7 mastery finally in the game feels good, already got my level 6 mastery on Ekko.

yeah it's new. To get a level 6 you have to get level 5 and then get two S-/S/S+ performances on the champ. To get level 7 you have to get level 6 and then ? number of S/S+ performances on the champ.

Oh and I think it requires combining the S performances with essence to get the mastery

Just tried the reworked Taric for the first time. Surprisingly fun and not as complicated as I thought he'd be. I felt like I was useful to my team and a real annoyance to the other team. I might start playing him.

thinking about it taric + twitch would be the most OP bot lane ever once twitch gets to 3 items. You have taric ult the twitch and then as the ult is about to go off you turn up behind the entire enemy team's backline and kill them in 4 autos while being invincible cause #Invulnerability

are we complaining about games that should've been an S+ but were an S-? I got a quadra and a 17 killing spree that game too. One of those deaths was an execute on a tower dive that was #worth to boot.

For real though, AP mummy has always been dumb, but he's insane now. Legit broken. Go play him. It doesn't have the same ult reliance and poor dueling that pure tank or even tanky ap amumu does The new hextech items give him absolutely insane burst, with the choice between reliable Qs or completely bullshit engage range with protobelt + flash + q. Glimpse of the Void is also insane for him, because his whole pattern is to 100-0 a single target. BOTH GotV and the hextech stuff give him extra flat magic damage, which is his favorite thing in the world, because he has the best mpen of anyone in the game.

Here's some numbers. Runes + Masteries + Sorc + Abyssal + Guise = 70 flat mpen, 95 with an auto. A carry with flat MR runes, Mercurial, and Locket Aura has 92 MR, so you do true damage with all your magic after an auto. Your combo straight 100-0's through heal. WITHOUT W OR AUTOING AT ALL, you do 1,200 magic + 150 true damage in bases + items + thunderlords, with a 2.65 AP ratio, which is about another 1,500 damage at endgame, for a total of 2.7k magic and 150 true, or 2,850 damage. A carry's EHP to Magic with mercurial + locket is roughly 2,300 with your MPen, 2.8k if they have Heal. With W and an auto, you can 100-0 through heal + morg/karma/janna/locket shields by yourself. The on All of this damage gets output in about 1-2 seconds depending on how far you are when you hit Q. You're also still Amumu with CC and AoE abilties, but honestly, who cares when you can out burst anyone in the game?

It's really, really dumb and I love it so much.

riot probably takes a few stats based on role, does fuzzy math, and then compares that rank against the percent of people that do better/worse based on the number

simply put, based on riots rank you didn't do better than 0.1% (or whatevr the cutoff for S+ is) of people that played your champ in that game

its all stupid hand waving to make people feel better about themeslves anyways. completely arbitrary just like the rank divisons

at least with blizz ranking you know exactly what you've accomplished. e.g. if you are in gold you are roughly 60% percentile
