You might be more engaged as scum, but Mirhawk isn't.In post 6046, SirCakez wrote:On the Mirhawk town case - I don't think his increased post count/emotional investment is indicative of town. I'm often more engaged and invested as scum.
One piece that you're missing (and the entire piece is the reason why I bothered bringing it up in the first place) is the sheer scale of the increased posting. This game is one-third of Mirhawk's body of work on this site; I agree that a big reason that he's upped his posting is because he's been a perpetual lynch target, but, based on reading some of his past games and based on my personal experience with him, I don't think that he has the ability to fake that kind of fight as scum; I think, if scum, he'd be far more likely to roll over and die then fight the way that he has.
The most significant point on him is that every single one of his reads is static; there's not a read that he's really tried to sort through, there's not a read that he's changed his mind on, there's nothing. I've pointed out why I think that some of his other recent town games are different; if you'd like to link me to a game where he does the same thing that he does here, it would help a lot if I manage to live long enough to read it through. I agree there's not really a smoking gun, but I don't really think that there's a smoking gun to find.In post 6046, SirCakez wrote:Dwlee is still a wild card to me because I know he death tunnels with little reasoning as town, I've seen it before. I remember his entrance being pretty townie and there's nothing smoking-gun on him. What specifically did you point out on him?
