Dumb question... I have a few friends who I am referring to the site. Can I do a /in SE and request to be put into the same game that they get into? I understand how it could work in the other queues where you specify a game, but the newbie queue is different.

You can't really because the SE queue is much longer than the newbie queue. What you can do is keep an eye on the queue and see what game they are placed in, then follow the game and when a replacement is needed, send a PM to the mod.

For the purposes of the newbie queue, if you die in an ongoing game, it counts as finished for experience points (for whether you are considered a newbie or SE). But it is still not a completed game and thus can't be discussed.

For some other queues with limits on how many games you can play at once (3 micros, 4 minis), dying in an ongoing game frees you up to sign up for another game even though the game you were playing isn't over, because your part in the game is done.

Guys should i go participate in a Normal match or just wait for a newbie one as if we go orderwise..my match will come like after 1-2 weeks and i want to do a match. But then again rules are a player has to do newbie matches before participating in a Normal one. I know all the rules etc though..

I don't think that's a rule. From OP:

New players will probably want to start playing one game here before playing elsewhere on the site

There is no experience requirement to sign up for a Normal game. However, playing through a Newbie game is recommended.

So go for it if you think you want to give it a shot.

Vandit, you just have to be patient. The game is going to take a while once you start, and your game should start within the week. While you wait, if you haven't already I recommend reading some games to help you figure some things out.
