- 769 This is the first post I didn't like and I just noticed it now. The vibe I'm getting from, "I'm not sure how I feel about this, but I'll get back to you" doesn't feel genuine.
- He delivers a wall on 771. It looks like a lost, but appears to be some fluff. My gut still says town, but no longer strong town. More like lean town.
- Agree with 793. Lane's logic is flawed.
- 834 If you're going to make such a statement and declare someone town, backing your case with, "gut" is weak support.

Couple things here. You're being hypocritical with the "gut" thing. Firstly, my townread on Lane was not a strong townread, it was a townlean on early Day 1 (part 2). I pushed discussion though, because we had nothing going on. Also, you say you have a gut feeling with me as town. Now, this is different than my slight townlean on Lane, because in the line 2 down from it, you say it was a strong town read. You say that "gut" is a weak support to declare someone town with, and then you do that exact thing yourself.
I'm not defending myself. Gut is a good tool to decide if we're judging scum, but not so great when someone says, "Why did you do that?" In that case, you're just saying, "I have a good excuse by claiming gut reaction."

Oh and while I'm posting,
Mod, I'm going to take a V/LA from tomorrow to Sunday. I hope to come on from time to time but I can't make any promises.

Kuroi, I think we're misunderstanding each other or splitting hairs. What do you mean that I'm using gut reaction as an excuse?

Um … ok. Frankly that is one of the oddest ways you could have possibly phrased that post then because I never would have gotten to this conclusion from what you wrote without you explicitly saying exactly this. Perhaps be prepared to either spoon-feed or be a little more direct in the future.

Back to Snarky …

In post 923, KuroiXHF wrote:Do you find Clumsy down to scum category, down to lynch territory?
No. He’s null so far.
In post 923, KuroiXHF wrote:In premise I agree with you, but in practice, I think it's actually valid. My first non-newbie game here, ClownTardis Mafia, I was one alive for the last day period and I was the only one who was clear. There was one player that was clearly out of place and the only reason was that he was too good to be there with the rest of us, only moderately good players. I told myself that I shouldn't vote based on that reason. I went against my instincts, led the charge against a different player and lost town for us. I've been kicking myself in the ass ever since.
First off I’m not going to bother with my “Sample Size” post that I feel obligated to make …

Second – it is a real stretch for you to justify your stance using LYLO of a game and trying to say somehow the logic you might use in that situation is valid for what is equivalently Day 1.
In post 923, KuroiXHF wrote:That doesn't make sense to me. The only way that would make sense is if Xk was allowed to use your account information and was basically him using your account login - which is against the rules and non-feasible as a method.
Um whut? Explain this because you are making absolutely no sense here.
"I am a leaf on the wind ... watch how I soar!"

If he's null, worry about him another day, unless your read on him goes down to lynch territory.

Secondly, I'm not going to lynch you, so worry about that another day.

Thirdly, I'm saying that the way that you explain Xk's role makes no sense to me. The only way it makes sense in my head is against the rules because it would require Xk using someone else's account login.

Okay, fine with TTH's explanations, and I don't know why she'd lie about a reason that was so easily traceable so UNVOTE: .

I'm too tired for anything else today but I think scum is in Ranger/Kuroi/Joe/Snarky. Tentatively. Very tentatively. (Aka, I'm townreading Magna and Clumsy, and slightly leaning town on TTH maybe.)

I couldn't find Earth-2 btw, which from my understanding is some separate topic? I couldn't find it in my role PM, and I skimmed the Private Topics forum and couldn't find it there, either. It shouldn't matter, since from my understanding, roles and alignments between the worlds are separate and therefore Earth-2 isn't really relevant to me until we actually reach Earth-2, but that does mean my reads here will be limited to Earth-1.
Quite the RANGE.

I disagree. Clumsy here is trying to look for an explanation for Xk to be the nightkill. Since we've only been in Earth One until now, the Earth Two scum team has to decide their kill based on Earth One play. It might be relevant to discuss Earth One play in this situation. I don't like that you're so quick to dismiss it.

VOTE: Snarky
That's what led me to vote you.

He couldn't have been killed for role-related reasons because we didn't even have our role PMs until the day ended. Even though I was townreading him on Earth 1, he didn't particularly strike me as an effective scumhunter from his Earth 1 posting (no offense). I think a parsimonious explanation for the kill is a familiarity with meta, which I gathered from and among others.
They're actually both in this same thread.

I put in the request the moment I saw it, but by the time I saw it, SirCakez was already offline, meaning he didn't send me my role until after I had already logged off for the night. I'm here now of course, but it'll take me longer than five minutes to read 38 pages. (Well, 40, really. I'm reading 36-38 right now because I replaced in on page 36, and will then start from the beginning and read the entire through including rereading those two pages with the context of the earlier pages.)

Yes.

At this point in my readthrough it looks like lane basically gave away he's one in Earth-1. So, yes, short of believing there really
is
a Kuroi-lane team, there is at least one player vanilla on Earth-1. I'm just not convinced Kuroi is one there.

Why are we analyzing earth 1 now? We are on earth 2 and earth 1 has no bearing on earth two at all unless someone flips on one and you are comparing play style. Right now that would only pertain to me and xy. Alignment is completely random on both worlds.
