The thinking-out-loud part in 211 doesn't seem right to me. Not OMGUSing the vote for me - if Dwlee changed his mind about Kappy, it makes sense, because I was still leaning scum on Kappy at that point.

Trying to decide on Sick.

Nahdia (multiple posts) and Cooldog (mainly post 335) make decent points. Dramonic, KTS, Firebringer, and NotMaf - having trouble making out their reasoning. Which is not unusual in this game and for this player (me).

Open to pro/con Sick arguments if anyone wants to make them?

PS: Sorry I haven't been posting/contributing more - busy week, and this game is ... different. A little bit of a "Tower of Babel" vibe, if that makes sense.

in every fucking game that I do this everyone always says, "but CooLDoG, you bastard, why u line up lynches?" well, put simply, I'm not. There is no reason for a town member to defend someone weakly. Either there is a solid reason someone is town that would logically prevent them from being lynched (a good claim, for instance) or there is a soft bullshit reason reason for keeping them alive. Every time I see someone defend someone else it begs the question, "why?". What initiative does a town member have to defend a player that is soft town-null? There is none. The only reason someone would come out and

someone else is if they had a self-interested reason in defending someone. This is scummy. Town's motivation is collective survival, scum motivation is for individual players to survive. Thus defending players is scummy. If you buy meta bullshit you can look this up in pretty much all of my games going back ~two years and you will note:

1) I rarely defend players, normally refraining from such until d3 or later provided no contingent bullshit claims.
2) I have called out players on this "tell" before.
3) I am right and you are wrong.

because if the argument for your wagon is stronger I'll hop on it. Also when defending for someone you take away information from that player themselves. It allows them to sit back while esoteric arguments start to spin for a nearly infinite duration. Players should only defend themselves, that's the way the town gets the most information. To think otherwise helps scum.
