The only time in the game I have drawn attentin to a Townslip by me was the one I made a little while ago, and I only did it because you had already tried to make a big deal out of my previous Townslips.

My intent is to lynch the three scum, and I'm pretty sure that is you, Panther, Dunstral. Is that cleat enough?

He's due for a Modprod anyway. If that doesn't work, your vote sure as hell won't. You're just parking your vote in a convenient place.

Wrong.

I wasn't the one to push it.

I was the one to comment on BTD6's theory of activity.

It was more to see what BTD6 thought than anything else.

Ahg.

Hate to be made a liar, but I want a little more from a few select players (namely: {duppin, Scott Brosius, BTD6}, though more from karnos and Shadow_step certainly wouldn't hurt) before I post the final three.

I want to hear all of their thoughts on recent events. There's something in particular I'm looking for, from them. Not from anyone else, I frankly don't care about anyone else at the moment, but from those people, I want to see what they say,
before
I make my case, not after.

You really won't tell me what you do for a living?

Is it in the education sector or in a teaching capacity?

Agreeing != Sheeping. Allso, I added original material from my own experience. I'd love to say why I think ranger is Town, but these scumclowns keep incriminating themselves, so it will have to wait because I need to go eat. But in a nutshell, it's partly process of elimination - ploben, Dunstral, Panther look SAF to me, and runners-up are Kuroi and duppin. So that helps make others look Townier. Also, I saw her responses earlier when I logged in, and they seem kosher at first glance. The "case" on her seems to be all based on meta, and I'm not really buying it. Plus, her reads largely coincide with my own.

Your reads seem so off to me that I just can't see you as scum atm; scum has to be a bit subtle about incorrect reads.

Teaching is a part of my job.
I will not say in what capacity, simply that it exists.

I don't see how that's relevant to the game though.

I suppose it has zero to do with the game. I just picked up the teacher vibe from you. You are careful with your words and your writing style sort of takes people along a journey, kind of like a teacher would do with subject matter.

If it has anything to do with your avatar my guess would be something in the field of science, which was going to be another guess of mine: some sort of researcher or scientist.

If it was earlier in the day when the content was less and we had no scum reads it would have been fine.

I don't quite follow the logic here, surely scum would not want to kill someone who hasn't posted much as they are easy mislynches later on(?)

Nice dodge. How about addressing the main point - you said you were okay with a Ranger lynch (twice!), then just a few posts later you said you wanted to wait until hearing what she had to say (twice!). Why the retreat? What new input change your mind?

Chip Butty wrote:The "case" on her seems to be all based on meta, and I'm not really buying it.
Actually it seems the main "case" is "lol, Ranger is self-metaing" (but refusing to point out what posts are the self-meta, when any post of mine referencing a previous game has served a purpose not relating to myself), "lol, Ranger is defending herself" (which was only true for the very early part of the game; literally all my content now is focused on offense), and "Ranger won't give her scumreads" (with a failure to say why that is something which comes from scum). With small sides of utterly-hypocritical "lol Ranger won't push Kuroi", and "lol Ranger's defending karnos". Florestan's the only one who's used any meta, though that meta doesn't make sense to me, so you're not exactly wrong about this either.

You also largely describe my attitude towards my core three:
these scumclowns keep incriminating themselves
It literally could not be a more obvious scumteam. Kuroi and duppin both look bad, but the core three just look THAT much worse.

I disagree. Someone who hasn't posted much makes a great NK because of lack of interactions and associations. So that will leave town the next day with little to no info on scum's intent for the NK.

Although, there are some players who put little to no stock in NK analysis so I guess if you're of that mindset it's moot.

See while my question about Ranger's job isn't DIRECTLY related to the game I was able to discern that she was a teacher in some capacity. How did I know that? I've never met or played with Ranger before.

I think that speaks to my ability to read into posts in this game.

But all you're concerned about is discrediting my posts and chucking mud at me at every turn.

Yeah. "Cold reading". Are you a fortune teller IRL? Lots of people can say that teaching is an element of their jobs. It doesn't mean a lot.

Anyway, even allowing that, how do you possibly get from "ability to read" to "Town"?

And panther, I really didn't think he was in the same category, much closer to null initially, but he is starting to make me doubt that read. It's like he wants to fit in with the scum team for some reason. It might just be some out of game thing between him and ranger that has carried into this.

Why? Sometimes your initial guess is completely correct, and by forcing yourself to second guess you end up coming up with an incorrect answer in the end. Your posts, florestan, seem to have an annoying pattern of telling someone they are wrong without telling WHY they are wrong. Why not help out a little and offer some more detailed insight?

And I think the town slip thing is getting a bit dumb.
