Because it's an unpopular opinion. Catching up, I've been seeing a lot more scum reading of Karnos than I have town reading.

2) Why did you quote 300 when you said you can't see Karnos as scum, if you actually didn't like post 300 and didn't find it to be alignment indicative?

I quoted 300 because I had a comment about it. Do I need any more of a reason?

Because his posts show thoughtfulness and consideration, a lot more than was shown in Open 638, when he was scum. The difference is like night and day. If Karnos is scum here, I will post a video of me eating my hat.

Scott is due for a prod. We're coming up on 5 IRL days in this game and Scott has given literally nothing. He made a good point about an association in his last post but he's not contributed nearly enough. This makes him a danger to town in 2 ways: no good associations and we have no idea where he stands in the game and also makes an easy NK for scum leaving little to no info for town in D2.

Alright, so from my understanding with live mafia games is that players that need to be called out/not speaking up usually get voted on/a formal called to get them in the game. I guess that doesn't translate quite the same here to forum mafia. So my vote does seem silly. But I still stand by my reasoning in 1012.

Duppin is reading the game correctly and I think his reads are fine. I think duppin is town. Also, duppin's interactions with Chip make me lean back towards Chip being scum.

Chip gets just as defensive with duppin as he did with me when duppin brings up logical points against Chip's arguments. I feel as town you get heated with a particular player and sometimes go to your corner and relax but you have (should have) the ability to keep an open mind to other reads and ideas ESPECIALLY those reads and ideas come from a totally different player. Chip doesn't do that, which makes me think he feels he needs to keep up the defensive facade because he is scum. It's not a strong theory but it's the way I'm leaning.

I've answered both these questions. I didn't like how Shadowstep was scum reading the original holder of my slot and I suspect it was because of Alpaca's inactivity. Shadowstep's response was troubling because it seemed bitter and angered to my suspicions.

I also unvoted Ranger because even as scum, I feel like I could follow Ranger's reads to help me find scum. Right now, I have her locked. If she steers me astray, I feel like I could catch her. She wants me alive because I could help lynch her. Ergo, I want her alive until her scum buddies are caught.

two schools of thought. Lynch the stronger player first despite ever so slightly lower confidence in result. So the night actions are less "ideal/correct"

Let the stronger player live bc in the case that they are town, they are potentially an asset to the town going forward / we don't do scums work for them of offing a strong player that they no longer have to night kill

The thing is, I know ranger isn't an asset to town even if town bc she thinks I'm scum and she thinks two people I have relatively decent confidence in being town are also scum. So the very simple explanation is she's just a wolf.

Ploben seems more likely town than scum primarily for the fast and loose entry and his overall tone. Some skeevy sheeping but he could just be hard town reading me as anyone who is half decent at this game should be. Some of his vote swaps have made me bertstare.gif at my screen. He and ranger are almost never w/w (would revisit after a flip based on ploben backing off ranger...ranger seems like a busser bc she has such a meta of "correct reads as a villager" so she has to bus to level her games) and ranger is almost always a wolf so that pretty moves ploben into solid v zone..for today
