Ranger is scum

Bunch of little things say ploben may certainly be scum getting bussed and hard aligning with town to make level 1 players think I am scum (or you) if ploben flips scum. And coincidentally think ranger must be town

As I explained, apparently mets dictates ranger has good reads (I only played one game and her reads were shit. She had 8 players to read with 3 scum and cleared the scum and had all towns as scum, worse than rand...whatever) so to hold to this meta she has to lynch a scum at some point to avoid being lynched when she keeps not dying at night.

As you know, I'm not entirely closed to the idea that Ranger might be scum. But I'm not really seeing it at this point.

I thinking lurking scum is very dangerous in this particular game. This yields to little to no associations and makes it very tough for town to evaluate.

Creating an association doesn't have to be a positive thing. Me and you have an association now, we are going against each other.

Buddying is where you are acting unnaturally friendly with someone.

I'm surprised no one has brought up the fact that making scum teams this early is irresponsible and can lead to misreads. Until there is a flip or investigations it's useless to speculate on scum teams.

Paranoid thought:
At least 1, maybe 2 (goon and traitor) are defending me because of perfect info and future town cred.

Just from catching up from last night to this morning, I'm getting sick and tired of all the "Chip Town Slips". They are starting to look like they're not genuine. And I'd have to question the players that keep bringing them up.

Off the top of my head I think that would be:
Ranger
Dunnstral
Panther
Karnos

If anyone can help me out with that one that would be great.

So both Chip's and Ranger's scum circle is ploben, Panther, Dunnstral.

Karnos's is ploben and Dunnstral.

All 3 voting on me.

Either there is some pocketing going on in the 2 separate circles or two town circles are fighting against each other.

Based on last night (and still going on this morning) I think Panther and Chip are suffering from some confirmation bias, against separate targets of course.

ploben, how to you read duppin and dunnstral?

I've actually been thinking about dunnstral latley. I ISO'ed him quickly last night during the back and forth in here and during the Sharks/Pens NHL game so I didn't dissect it but I did find some interesting vote jumping early on, little suspicious. He's sheeping Panther and a paranoid me can see the world where he is pocketing me.

I haven't given duppin much thought. I will today when I get to

work

the establishment that signs my paychecks.

More recently, I really like this:

Half the reason I want to bring Ranger to L-1 is because she'd be forced to give her reasoning/cases.

I think this is a town motivated thought.

In general I don't subscribe to the "more active = scum" theory, I think it's lazy scum hunting. Chip argues both sides of this point in a weird way in 985 considering he's only 20 posts behind me when he quoted that count. As I write this he's still only 20 behind me so I'm really not sure what his or Ranger's point is.

I know that has little to do with dunnstral, just stream of conscience thought process.

If one or both of Panther/Dunnstral is scum I don't see it so far in D1.

All of this stuff feels weird to me because I really feel like Ploben is the one "buddying up" if anything, and he also feels the need to point it out multiple times

It weirds me out a bit that he keeps asking for RL info, like where you played golf and what Ranger's occupation is - and he was shown to be lying about his reason for asking the latter. That's prob nothing to do with the game, but yeah, it weirds me out a bit. Be careful of giving out RL info, guys. Stuff can be pieced together if you do it often enough.

Alright without going into Ranger's iso (you can check up on your own if you really want) here is what she's done:

Defensively talks about herself at slightest pressure
Aggressively attacking people who scum read her (Except Florestan)
Goes on and on about other games, makes big walls of text that

don't matter

In addition to above, self meta all day long (more time referencing self meta than this game!)
Reads are horrible, and almost all of them I disagree with
The associations between her, Kuroi, (and now possibly Ploben?) make her VERY likely to be mafia
Again her scum team makes no sense whatsoever and the fact that it's being pushed all around now makes me think that Ploben might be mafia after all and the mafia are slipping up by knowing too much

For that last point I exclude duppin as a link because Chip is really the only one pushing that angle, while Ranger and Karnos (Who I'm still not quite convinced can't be scum) push the other three

I mean realistically if Ranger and Kuroi are both mafia, it's probably not also Karnos just on the basis that one of these lurkers are bound to be mafia as well

Also that theory that the 3 top posters are mafia spamming the thread is laughable and will be quoted in post-game/after flips

Do tell. What tracks am I trying to cover? And how can "covering your tracks" even be a thing in a game where all your posts are preserved forever and visible to all players? That literally doesn't make any sense.
