Ya it's nice...tough. 79 ties my best round. Had an 8 footer for 78 and lippedIn post 1077, ploben wrote:Awesome. Looks like a great course. In post 1075, PantherPunt wrote:Montour heights ccIn post 1071, ploben wrote:Nice. Where did you play? What's your handicap?

Google tells me that's where the Travelers is being played in August. Have fun
Going to the Open on Tuesday and Saturday next week
Panther, can you give me the executive summary version of why you think Ranger is scum? And are you sure it is not just bad blood carried over from that last time you met in a game?In post 1078, PantherPunt wrote: Ranger is scum
Forget all the "IC joke" stuff. Apart from that, do you see ploben's posting as Town? I mean, if you really go back and look at it...In post 1082, Dunnstral wrote:I can give you a summary, in a little bit though, I think Ranger is scum and would rather get her then Kuroi today as I'm more confident in Ranger
It would say something if someone other than you said that.In post 1083, Chip Butty wrote:Forget all the "IC joke" stuff. Apart from that, do you see ploben's posting as Town? I mean, if you really go back and look at it...
HmmIn post 443, ploben wrote:Unless someone does something ridiculously crazy like quote their mafia role PM, I cannot see myself coming off Karnos for my D1 lynch. Someone would have to present a really really strong case.
I believe we've found our first scum.
VOTE: karnos

In a world where Ranger is town but Kuroi is scum I think this actually makes Ploben look pretty bad (Gotta see flips first, though)In post 509, ploben wrote:I thinking lurking scum is very dangerous in this particular game. This yields to little to no associations and makes it very tough for town to evaluate.
VOTE: AlpacaAlpaca
So does this since Ranger was kind of becoming the focus
In post 256, ploben wrote:Creating an association doesn't have to be a positive thing. Me and you have an association now, we are going against each other.
Buddying is where you are acting unnaturally friendly with someone.
In post 520, ploben wrote:I'm surprised no one has brought up the fact that making scum teams this early is irresponsible and can lead to misreads. Until there is a flip or investigations it's useless to speculate on scum teams.

At least 1, maybe 2 (goon and traitor) are defending me because of perfect info and future town cred.

Off the top of my head I think that would be:
Ranger
Dunnstral
Panther
Karnos
If anyone can help me out with that one that would be great.

In post 988, ploben wrote:So both Chip's and Ranger's scum circle is ploben, Panther, Dunnstral.
Karnos's is ploben and Dunnstral.
All 3 voting on me.
Either there is some pocketing going on in the 2 separate circles or two town circles are fighting against each other.
Based on last night (and still going on this morning) I think Panther and Chip are suffering from some confirmation bias, against separate targets of course.
In post 1028, ploben wrote:I've actually been thinking about dunnstral latley. I ISO'ed him quickly last night during the back and forth in here and during the Sharks/Pens NHL game so I didn't dissect it but I did find some interesting vote jumping early on, little suspicious. He's sheeping Panther and a paranoid me can see the world where he is pocketing me.In post 1027, karnos wrote:ploben, how to you read duppin and dunnstral?
I haven't given duppin much thought. I will today when I get toworkthe establishment that signs my paychecks.
In post 1030, ploben wrote:More recently, I really like this:I think this is a town motivated thought. In post 840, Dunnstral wrote:Half the reason I want to bring Ranger to L-1 is because she'd be forced to give her reasoning/cases.
In general I don't subscribe to the "more active = scum" theory, I think it's lazy scum hunting. Chip argues both sides of this point in a weird way in 985 considering he's only 20 posts behind me when he quoted that count. As I write this he's still only 20 behind me so I'm really not sure what his or Ranger's point is.
I know that has little to do with dunnstral, just stream of conscience thought process.
All of this stuff feels weird to me because I really feel like Ploben is the one "buddying up" if anything, and he also feels the need to point it out multiple timesIn post 1032, ploben wrote:If one or both of Panther/Dunnstral is scum I don't see it so far in D1.
That can't be right, can it? I mean, statistically everyone has to be Town most of the time, right? In post 1073, PantherPunt wrote:ranger is almost always a wolf

It weirds me out a bit that he keeps asking for RL info, like where you played golf and what Ranger's occupation is - and he was shown to be lying about his reason for asking the latter. That's prob nothing to do with the game, but yeah, it weirds me out a bit. Be careful of giving out RL info, guys. Stuff can be pieced together if you do it often enough. In post 1084, PantherPunt wrote:It's interesting that ploben kind of froze at the talk of ploben/ranger scum/scum
There were like 4 posts back and forth between me and Dunn and he kept talking to me about golf......
That would be scum action. Scum coast. Town doesn't. Town wants to live. Scum wants to hope that they're forgotten about. In post 1089, Chip Butty wrote:If you are Town, the Townest thing you can do is stfu.In post 1085, KuroiXHF wrote:It would say something if someone other than you said that.In post 1083, Chip Butty wrote:Forget all the "IC joke" stuff. Is that why Karnos is lock town but chip is your top scumread? In post 1092, KuroiXHF wrote:Scum wants to hope that they're forgotten about.
And I don't think Chip is trying to be forgotten about. In post 1094, KuroiXHF wrote:I don't think Karnos is coasting through.
Do tell. What tracks am I trying to cover? And how can "covering your tracks" even be a thing in a game where all your posts are preserved forever and visible to all players? That literally doesn't make any sense. In post 1097, KuroiXHF wrote:That's not true. I've scum read Ranger and she hasn't attacked me.
Also, I twisted my logic around. That's not the only symptom of scum. Chip's showing a different symptom - trying to cover his tracks.
