He shows up confirmed scum. Then: Who is his partner?
He shows up confirmed town. Then: Who is the scum?

Are you able to answer all these questions? If not, you may not be ready to lynch anyone yet.

He's pushing Tom's lynch to a degree. First, he unvoted Tom to stall the lynch. But then later, as LQ pointed out, he backed away from his read saying he didn't know what Tom was doing. Between that and him being my other main scum read, I'm saying that's what is most likely

Stall the lynch because we didn't get many reads.

By not knowing what Tom is doing was me backing away from what's supposed to be tojam2 discrediting me (I think).

I'm going to assume tom is tojam. Tojam was at I-1 and creature was voting for him. That's a pretty big risk for them to take, if they are scum.
