He ignored the entire post to come to the conclusion that Alpaca is only posting because he was under pressure.
Fwiw that appears to be the most thoughtful post alpaca made all game. I'm not convinced that m&m is right about him only doing it due to pressure, but it's a plausible interpretation.

Are you going to play both sides the entire game?

mhsmith has already covered things pretty well so I won't waste my breath, but the bottom line is that this is so anti-town it really doesn't make much sense unless you're scum WIFOMing.
You said something about this being a "viable" but not "optimal" play somewhere - do you want to explain why you're choosing to go for "viable" over "optimal"? Why not just go for the optimal play? Like I can't understand how that's a town thought process at all.

The first sentence is straight up coaching, I mean come on smith is directly telling you to stop doing something because it makes you scummy. Town had no reason to tell you to stop being scummy. I want scum to act scummy, good lord. If scum stopped acting scummy how would we find scum like you? Anyway let's move on to the second sentence. That fact that YOU is YOU really feels like smith saying "answer this now", which makes it feel like he is trying to get you to stop acting scummy and quick get your town mask on.

Well no, if Alpaca isn't scum, there wouldn't be any coaching, Alpacca is scummy before this, the coaching just seals the deal and gives me an idea as to who his partner is. If he isn't scum the whole theory falls apart. What would scum gain by telling town to not act scummy?

Well me and Ranger think he is town. If Ranger is town like I think she is achieving a lynch on Alpaca will require the cooperation of every single member of the town while having both scum on board.
So he could easily just be trying to buddy up as the lynch isn't that easy to achieve.

Also he could just be trying to slow roll his way onto the wagon and be doing a poor job.
Like a lot of things could explain his actions as scum without Alpaca.

'Directly telling me to stop' he literally asked me to explain myself and I proceeded to show where I had explained myself, not once did he directly tell me anything excpet for telling me to stop sheeping Touka and explain myself
