Join me in a Townbloc with certain other players. You don't have to stay in it, but there's strength in numbers and at the moment either of you or podo can be lynched. If you're Town you don't want that, and if you are a Town PR you don't want to have to claim, either. Join me so all of that can be prevented before it even begins. If you don't join me, then you can deal with your wagon on your own. If you're Town it's the smartest thing you can do, and if you're Scum in this bloc you'll be sorted out eventually.

This game has taken a back seat to just about everything else I'm doing, because I am super demoralized having to play this game with the incredibly fun suck that is Titus's mason gambit. It's bad play, and the way she's treated other people I consider disrespectful, unsportsmanlike, and unsettling to the point that it made me want to replace out. Instead of doing that, I've decided to just read, refrain from posting often, and only jump in if I need to dodge a prod or if there's something that's legit worth discussing that I think nobody else is going to bring up.

There have been two RL days since day 2 started. Most of it has been nothing. I still don't see any case on Performer (WHY IS NOBODY ACTUALLY EXPLAINING THEIR SCUMREAD ON PERFORMER) or Mirhawk (WHY), so I'm just sitting back watching. Plus, my biggest problem in games like this has usually been talking too much. So I'm trying out being quiet. Especially since I was a huge townread of other players, I thought backing off and letting other people have the spotlight would be a good idea.

I said at one point yesterday, "Titus is probably town." That's a frustration thing, like "Knowing all the garbage that's happened this game, there's probably three scum teams, and I'm the only town left."

I go back and forth between thinking Titus has 40% of flipping scum and 90%. I don't have greater than 40% odds on anybody else in the thread, so even when I think Titus is more likely to flip town, it's still usually the lynch I'm happiest with.

OK, I'm gonna go out a huge limb here. Please somebody with significantly more site experience than I look into this.

In Secret Alt Mafia 2, Joey Tribbiani scumslipped by accidentally linking to the Mafia PT. When people clicked the link, they got an error screen that says "You are not authorised to read this topic." This happened because he prepared his wall inside of the Mafia PT, and when he typed (post)74(/post), it linked to the thread he typed it in, not the main thread, where the post he intended to reference lied.

Now it's possible that I'm misunderstanding some of how that works, because I only vaguely know this story from TPP talking about it in Musical Mafia, but I'm seeing the same symptoms of it here. If I'm wrong here, and this is nothing, then sorry I brought it up, we can move on. But if I'm right, and this is the same thing, it's just straight up a scumslip. Like, a real one.

It's not a rebuttal. It's an explanation. I genuinely think you're town, and genuinely think you're just misunderstanding me, which is why I feel it's important to explain myself. That's the kind of mindset town is supposed to have, and the lack of that mindset is why this game has been an absolutely chore.

Please show me where you explain your scumread on Performer. It's possible I missed it. I don't understand why you think that doesn't matter.

People are giving Zach/Titus/Dunn way too much power, and at least one of them is pretty stupid, and at least two have lied to us to our faces repeatedly with the Mason lie. Now we're forced to believe that the only kill Night 1 was conveniently by Dunn, the Town '1-Shot' Vig who killed Lapsa. Yeah, no other kills at all. We can't trust Dunn because he already lied to us for over a hundred posts. A thousand even if that's how long the Mason turd gambit went. This Titus is machiavellian, plain and simple. Here I am Town as hell and she keeps twisting my words and telling me that I'm saying things that I'm not, and frankly I remember this from the games we were in where she was Scum.

She's acting that way to destroy Town morale. It's obvious.

If you are Town and you realize I'm Town, work with me on every single issue on this game from this point on and stay active. We need to not allow the lines of communication to break down, and if other players are receptive to listening and sharing we should have them join as well. If we create this Townbloc where we defend each other and stay in constant communication, it'll look insanely suspicious if Scum dared try to target any of us (well, not me, because we'd both be dead).

I'm not convinced by the Performer/implosion/mirhawk cases. Just, no. Scum already lost someone so now they're bound and determined to not see it happen again. Why do you think they're constantly going out of their way to NOT listen? It's blatantly obvious. And Scum thinks writing me off as obvTown but not listening to anything I have to say will placate me somehow, as if that's ever worked.

Engagement is extremely important, so with that posts do come. That's part of the game. The game already has 130 pages, so being real active and participating isn't going to change that one whit. You're better up stepping up to the plate and showing me that you care and that you want to find Scum just as much as I do. Let's work together, and make some changes before we're picked off one by one, exactly how Scum wants it. I really hope implosion and mirhawk are listening and are intent on surviving if they're Town.

The slip is confirmed to be nothing. The url is way too early to be the scum pt of this thread. He said he was using an old thread he still had access to.

To me, Wake is obvtown. He's one of the only players who still seems to give a shit about Titus's gambit, and I doubt that as scum, he'd continue to put up a losing fight on it.

We already lynched one scum so they have one or two partners left in the game. If we don't lynch another scum in next day or two (three?), paranoia will creep in and they will crack under pressure.

I don't see why town needs to do shenanigans at this point, it's mafia who needs to pull off something in order to save this game. No need for all this.

Titus and Dunn (as a scum team) wouldn't get MORE paranoid if their teammates survived. I don't understand that idea. It would make them more confident. Sure, lynching scum yesterday puts a big nail in their coffin, but they can still win this game if they off the players intent on actually holding them accountable.

You might be. I have to work on my convincing people skills. I can't do that very well so I can try to use Wake as sort of a contrapositive argument and let him steer town into a volcano then maybe I'll get some support after that happens. That's why I'm leaving it alone right now.

I did give in put on the active slots; I adamantly called most of them town and less adamantly called others town. Calling them town is not the opposite of giving input.

I kinda agree with the sentiment that there was likely no scum in most of the latter people on Ved's wagon. But I probably wouldn't apply that to Dunn and Shannon as the writing was on the wall by that point so I could see bussing happening there.

Read: "I don't want to look weird for disagreeing with this sentiment but I don't want it to prevent me from pushing on Dunn or shannon even though them being town is 40% of what the sentiment says." Saying that he agrees with the sentiment and then essentially discounting it wholesale by saying that 40% of the 5 people that have been called town for it are scum is just posturing.

I think Airick's reasoning was largely fine, and he just happens to be wrong. The "history of following" thing is just a misinterpretation of a playstyle and I can't fault him for thinking my switch to AGar was scummy. Boem is also thinking things through and seems to be teetering on the edge of me or Mirhawk so I don't fault him either. I don't really think either of them is scum, certainly not based on this. Transcend/Varsoon/beeboy are shitty votes but none in particular was scummily so. I have independent townreads on all three of them, but none of those reads are all that strong and so it's likely that there's one scum in the three. Titus is still town.

And there's already a moderately sized wagon on my preferred target. Idk why I would join a townblock that would vote for someone I prefer less. I also really just hate the sort of air of you seeming like you feel entitled to followers because you're being townread; I disagree pretty heavily with your reads iirc.
