So the only world in which I'm town to you, town just loses anyway? The hell is that?In post 1923, Transcend wrote:Basically if chip comes and doesn't hammer cakez then cakez is confirmed scum to me.
The reason is: a confirmed town slot is voting him rn. So unless the team is karnos persivul and chip, then this is conf red to me (and only me).Brian Skies - "I just wanna say Cakez is an evil mod and this is an evil setup."

Podo hadn't acted yet?
I'm not sure why you guys are so confused by this, it's really transparent. Ranger understood it fine.Brian Skies - "I just wanna say Cakez is an evil mod and this is an evil setup."

So...maybe this was the wrong way to go about things, but...
Reading SirCakez's iso (well, skimming) here, it looks like scum.
I'm going through his scum games one by one.
I see resemblance to last iteration of here, Diffusion of Power.
I see resemblance to Assassin's Creed.
His stances here seem like deja vu from Killer Instinct.
I'm seeing some resemblance to Sharing is Caring, albeit weaker.
The "town is idiots" attitude is there from America's Mafiascum.
Among other scum games.
And then we get on the town side:
It's not that applicable, but I don't see much resemblance to Pokemon Episode 5.
In Literally Anything Upick, there was a casual, effortless feeling to his posts. He was posting what was on his mind and it was doing stuff. I'm trying to see that here, and I'm finding it difficult.
There was a similar vibe in Greatest Idea mafia. I just...really don't see that this game.
ETL's uPick Horror Movies had the same thing.
By gut, this feels different from White Flag.
In JK9++, rereading, SirCakez instantly stands out as being town with what he was doing and saying. Rereading this game, I get none of that.
Musical Mafia, much the same. Looking at his posts, I remember why he instantly entered my god-tier town. Here, there's nothing of the sort.
The CLOSEST game to this one is Science. Relevance being, I misread him as scum there (though in my defense, he was hard-defending scum all game AND we had a 3p-neighborhood). It's the one which makes me not absolutely sure. Read it for yourself. There's some things which look similar, but others which feel different.
Overall: strongly lean scum, but not enough where I'd risk the game by voting him without doing something similar for the other players of interest.Quite the RANGE.Game History"Interestingly though, town winrate in Blitzes has been really high."- RadiantCowbells

It's just that...while SirCakez looks bad, really bad with some of this stuff, both off of his play (there's some sketchy stuff) and how a lot of his earlier posting reminds me of his bussing habits where he then proceeds to go and buddy his scumbuddies to keep them alive (see also: his Transcend read), the wagon on him is just so...bad.
Scum bussing scum is possible, but why not just go for the win?
So, basically: still very uncomfortable with the lynch on SirCakez.Quite the RANGE.Game History"Interestingly though, town winrate in Blitzes has been really high."- RadiantCowbells

I'll take this moment to point out most of those are Transcend posts,Spoiler: Bad postshowever, Transcend is not without town-looking posts. I neglected to remember all of them, but one post which does look pure town is 1853 and the follow-through, 1854. A fair amount of his posting on that page is good actually, with another solid one being 1859. 1901, a little later, also vaguely looks town, albeit not as strongly. I can also see town behind 1923 in particular, though it's also in 1922 slightly.
Point I want OUT of the spoiler:
Did you forget about you saying this, Transcend? 'Cause this? This actually happened. You're doing nothing with the information OF it having happened.Transcend wrote:PP put him at L-1 and let's see if he gets blitzed. Do it. Do it. Do it. I either wanna lose the game or confirm him as scum fmpov so i can build a case on him.
I'll also point out though: most of Transcend's bad posts, while bad, are at least original.
Most of Persivul's bad posts (and he's the second-worst offender after Transcend) are blatantly buddying other players and sheeping what they've said.
The main reasons I'm not voting Persivul:
-He's not entirely wrong about SirCakez.
-I always scumread Persivul.
-I haven't done my homework yet.
So, this is why I'm not currently pushing for ANY lynch.Quite the RANGE.Game History"Interestingly though, town winrate in Blitzes has been really high."- RadiantCowbells

I'll admit.
I kind-of have a #YOLO-scumteam idea of {karnos, Chip Butty} with the third as EITHER Persivul OR SirCakez.
But again, this is why full research is needed.Quite the RANGE.Game History"Interestingly though, town winrate in Blitzes has been really high."- RadiantCowbells

Found this in a Chip Butty iso. There's a minimum of one scum in {Persivul, Chip Butty, PenguinPower}.Ranger - doc n1
MURDERCAT (replaces MurderCat) - doc
Persivul (replaces drmyshottyizsik) - doc
Chip Butty - doc n2
PenguinPower - doc n3
Dunnstral, Town Doctor, was lynched Day 2.
Aneninen, Town Doctor, was lynched Day 3.
7 doc.
We've got at least one mafia in the doc claims.
I actually think it's Chip Butty. The whole game, he's said, "I'll look at this": promising analysis.
He never actually delivers it.
This, ironically enough, was what I did in Stack the Deck, which was filled with analysis from him. three pages of it to be more precise. Speaking of that game,
That didn't work so well in Stack the Deck, and I thought Chip Butty was a strong advocate OF lynching that game, though I'd have to check back to confirm.Chip Butty wrote:I know the conventional logic is to no-lynch, and I guess I can live with that.
I'm not absolutely sure of this, given his iso in my game is not nearly as strong, but even there, he was doing analysis. Another example? Again, this game's predecessor, where Chip was posting strongly the whole game.
That's basically nonexistent here.Quite the RANGE.Game History"Interestingly though, town winrate in Blitzes has been really high."- RadiantCowbells

This is the full post for context. He did go on to say he wasn't enthused by the idea of lynching then, either, butstill.Chip Butty, Stack the Deck, 8p mylo wrote:NL: I'm not crazy about the idea, even at 5/3, unless we can be fairly certain there is a payoff. I.e. are we likely to be in a better position tomorrow? That payoff would come in the form of an informational NK
Ahg, this is hard.
In my peak, this would've been ridiculously easy to pull off.

VOTE: SirCakez
You can't be scum with Cakez!Town otherwise you and/or Ranger would have blitzed him by now.In post 1840, MURDERCAT wrote:I think we should just lynch cake, if cake is town we will lose sooner or later anyway.
So why are you so reluctant to vote him now that momentum has actually shifted his way?
Ranger/MC/SirCakez team possible right now but I still think MC has been towny but maybe I need to re-iso and re-evaluate. - Transcend
