Regardless, me claiming here as scum would mean that I was saving a scum buddy (Lickety or HipLop) so that would be 2 scum for the price 1.

That is an argument. @ this point, it can't really hurt the town too much if ur town, compared to how much it can help you if you scum.


pedit: cause the only reason not to claim is cause it gives scum PRs to shoot. They have enough targets @ this point. But if ur scum, making you commit to being a PR or not helps town.

Jesus christ. I'm saying meta didn't help me and you're arguing that as though it should be all the way in your favour and anyone who in depth meta'd you would come away with a strong townread (I kind of stopped after it looked discouraging). Which is like, okay, if you want to start arguing why you should be TOWNREAD on it, go ahead (though idk how much I'd weigh someone's self-meta analysis). If I had points against you I'd understand 100% you arguing against them but here my stance is pretty much just that I don't feel safe townreading you so you're between my scumreads and townreads.

If you aren't satisfied with this the onus is kind of on you to tell me why I SHOULD be townreading you, not the other way around. I mean to your credit now I buy vedith's claim and you have a bad association with DGB so I think you're more likely town here but if you have some shining example to your favour that blows it out of the water by all means share.

Agree with leaving the watcher alive for a day but this is out of character for jarjar. He strikes me as the type of guy that would do anything to get his scumreads lynched, damned be a PR claim, and in fact in the last game we played together I remember him saying VT claims were towny.

Why would scum change their read randomly like that?

This seems pretty obvious for a defense of DGB, but after my analysis of kts interactions, I think jarjar may be trying to lay on the WIFOM. The transition from "let's lynch DGB" to "here are some reasons vedith is scum, let's lynch vedith" is unnatural. The normal town reaction if you're unsure is to think about it for a little, and make a decision.

It's worth mentioning that vedith has claimed cop to get a town PR lynched before, but this feels very different. Given how towny kraska was, and how scummy DGB has been, and jarjar's frantic attempt to save DGB, I think we should just lynch DGB today. I ~guess~ we could wait until tomorrow to sort it out, but scum could lay on some WIFOM with roleblocking (and in fact, I think DGB might be the roleblocker).
