What's your stance on copper, GL?There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

a) So what have you sorted her as now? Scum? Town?In post 323, JaeReed wrote:
a) No that's my reasoning for pushing GM and trying to sort her early.
b) I explained the GM/Asty partners thing. It was GM selectively not pressuring Asty. When I looked back over it I realized Asty would have literally had to make a post with no other intention than "hi scum buddy!" which is a pretty stupid conclusion to draw there. So not on the same team. In fact, I explained this in my second paragraph.
c) The underlined is not a contradiction? Earlier in the paragraph I'm talking about them being buddies, later in the paragraph I'm talking about Asty potentially being scum on an individual basis.
You're not reading my posts. You're not legitimately trying to sort me, and I know that you arenotthis bad as town.
VOTE: GuiltyLion
I plan to get to this game later tonight but I wasn't going to let that bs slide. That right there? THAT is actual misrep.
b) Originally your case was that you thought GM was softballing her buddy by ignoring his scummy RVS post. Now you're saying Asty had no scum motivation for his post. Why is GM still scum?
c) You're clearly NOT talking about them being buddies. You said "I can't see scum motivation for Asty to buddy GM in their first post". That implies scum!Asty and town!GM.
also how do you know I'm "not this bad as town"? Explain exactly what you mean by that"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"- GuiltyLion

might be scum, would lynch today. Some of the P->Q stuff he's posting reminds me of my scum play where I hone in on logic arguments and use that to deflect any notion of ~feelings~. However I'd like to see him respond to my questions and I'm more interested in Jae atmIn post 325, Accountant wrote:What's your stance on copper, GL?"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. you think his scumread on GM looks genuine? what do you think of him popping into the thread to respond to me yet not doing anything else since I've replaced in?"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. After rereading the game I'm pretty convinced both Scum are in {copper, Jae, Dragon} with DDD as the very unlikely side candidate.
I also would probably not vote Jae today though.EFFORT IS NOT INDICATIVE OF ALIGNMENTLA during normal working and sleeping hours EST

@GL
It's pretty much all in my ISO already. Replacement slots are more likely to be scum and I did not like the way Oncilla in particular left the game, could have been honest coincidence but I've seen newbscum leave the game once one player started to pressure them, that happened for instance in my latest newbie before this one where Charloux was the culprit (I often play chess online and when the other player starts to feel he is going to lose 1/3 of the time nowadays they just leave, it's the same mindset).
So I was going to reaction test DDD anyway, your catch-up, with a vote on someone I was town-reading, plus ignoring my other suspect , plus scum-leaning on me and another town-lean of mine was alarming so I included you in the test.
In the mean time though I read Jae's post about being bummed town and not reading the thread this game, I checked their ISO and I found no other evidence of that being their state of mind other than in this thread, I also found a comment about them saying the played like crap in the fallout mafia game (so why would they want a repeat?) which made me question the read.
To you Jae pushing GM and backing off may seem scummy (and I can see the scummy motivation) but I've seen town_Jae do exactly that so I had the opposite reaction at the time and I did not think about the fact it was equally possible for them as scum to do it for different reasons.
The posts that made me question Accountant are already in my case on him.- Accountant

Misguided? Yes. Genuine? Also yes. I don't think that's particularly relevant. If he were beetlejuicing he'd be doing stuff with DDD as well.In post 331, GuiltyLion wrote:

watin favor of defending GM
I spent like two pages going back and forth with you about how terrible your case was before I gave up and decided to just lynch you. There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

I didn't ignore it. I said exactly what I thought of it.
I'm not interesting in wallfighting with someone for no productive reason. I think I've defended myself enough already, and if anyone still thinks I'm scum that's on them, not me. Not that anyone does.Everything that copper just said is a lie. Lynch him.
I've already expressed that I think GL is misguided. There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

Because I townread her, so of course I care if you're arbitrarily shutting her out of something. Why is that relevant for you?
What does this mean?GM is continuing her tradition of being scum+1 in my gamesThere's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

I said so already, the last time we played it took me a day longer to lynch scum because she hard defended them and accused me of being scum (for a lot of the same things she is bringing up here) which totally fucked my reads up because I became convinced she had to be their buddy and that she was actually more likely to be scum because it could have still been a WK.
Yeah the buddying is strong in this one ... as if I could arbitrarily shut her down from the topic just by saying I am not interested in her opinion.- Accountant

The important word here is "arbitrarily".There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

This is the important part.In post 343, Accountant wrote:Because I townread her, so of course I care if you're arbitrarily shutting her out of something.
You should care about me doing stuff "arbitrarily", which you now claim is your focus, anyway cause the natural question that should come to mind in that frame is: "why is he doing that?" but you preface it with the fact you are town-reading her.
I'd actually be more interested if someone arbitrarily seemed to shut a scum-read of mine out of the discussion, but that case is not that relevant for you apparently, likely because buddying is your true motivation here (and in the whole "proposition" discussion before that).- Accountant

Oh, hello again thenIn post 316, goodmorning wrote:I was the mod of said Micro!
If you think oncilla's posts were weird, why drop suspicion just because of a replacement?
I'm not sure what you mean by that, can you clarify please? In post 289, goodmorning wrote:It has and it's mostly debunked at this point.
I think it's more weird that Dragonfire would drop suspicion just because of a replacement.
Re: oncilla, since I didn't get the same weird gut feeling from reading DDD's posts, I decided to drop suspicion. Some people, especially newbies, just come across as scummy (gut) regardless of alignment, and I think this might be the case. I feel like it's not fair to judge someone by the standards of their predecessor if said predecessor has not done anything really scummy / off.
Since I actually replaced him, and therefore I know he was town, they're utterly irrelevant from my point of view. Why are you asking me this?In post 317, Accountant wrote:Dragonfire, are the weirdness of Asty's posts important or relevant in your mind?
Why do you think I'm scum? Is it based on Asty's posts, or mine?In post 332, goodmorning wrote:After rereading the game I'm pretty convinced both Scum are in {copper, Jae, Dragon} with DDD as the very unlikely side candidate.

I wanted to get a handle on your mindset. Beetlejuicing means to ignore the thread until someone mentions or accuses you, then you pop back in solely to defend yourself. It's seen as scummy because it means you only care about not getting lynched. There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.
