The problem is, though, Ceph, that's no longer (if it ever was) site meta. Oftentimes now, scum are more emotional than town when put under pressure. Sure, town get upset, but it's a lot easier to rationalize 1 vote when you know you're town (and can thus have the thought "well, the truth'll come out eventually") than it is when someone has a pretty decent case on you when you're scum, but nobody else sees it. Scum are more likely to care about a few number of votes than town.
