I'm saying that it's fundamentally scummy that someone would be confused by that because there shouldn't be any ambiguity of semantics there if you know that MJ is the friendly neighbor (which you should, given how long you've been in this game)

And I don't understand how MJ read DS's post and thought that. The timing of MJ's Bro read is not in question in DS's post. So for that second post to make sense, when they refer to an order in the first post, they're referring to something that is not even in DS's post; and when they say "it's the other way around", "IT" can't possibly refer to something that is not there. The only way the first answer makes sense is if they're referring to the role order.

What did they mean with "The other way around" then? You couldn't possibly guess that they thought DS was saying they did not have a town read on Bro before they targeted him. There's nothing in DS's post that tells me that. It's reaching very far out.

And to say the only possible logical interpretation to that post is scummy is just, well, scummy.

I don't like MoI's comments on me or DS - the thrown out sorta-town read on me is pretty much pointless and MoI should know that I'm pretty competent as town and scum and that me trying to get into the game on its own really isn't an alignment tell for me, and his early early attack on DS (his iso #4) felt overly constructed - it goes into DS being scum because he isn't looking that closely into his wagon even though it's still at least a bit RVSish, and from DS's perspective the wagon would largely be based on a pretty simple misinterpretation of one of DS's posts. It overlooks a lot of gamestate context and saying 'he didn't do this so he's scum' because of it feels bad. Also I just haven't seen anything from him yet that actually looks like some sort of towntell and he's got some pretty decent sized posts already.

farside reads as gutscum, I think because of how she was interacting with keyen early game, plus when I was reading it seemed like MoI and farside were a pretty plausible scum pairing even though that's definitely not worth pushing on it's own.

grib and cheetory I'm fairly confident in being town, hiplop I'm not actually all that confident in but I REALLY don't want to lynch him today or probably tomorrow because he just feels town to me, and I like DS's early play a lot, it looked like he was legit trying to do things and make the game progress and he just seemed like kind of an irritant instead of actual scum.

and i don't like kdown's posting as he was replacing out, and none of his posts even look town at all individually, but I do think it's pretty possible that kdowns would have this sort of mindset as town. or i guess it's more that his mindset seems suicidal and awful as scum so it's a little more likely than not that it's just not the case?

Alright fellas, time for another half-assed list.

This will include 12 slots. I'm actually really confused about the whole MJ and Bro thing so I'm going to leave them out. I believe that MJ is confirmed town if Bro is town and is likely not wolf either way but the context is a little bit confusing and I'm leaving them out of this list. Regardless, I'm not flipping either of them today.

Tier 1: Farside was shittingly blatant obvious town. Most people tend to agree with me here, some people do not. I think she was town so Z is probably town too. Grib is a supposed pr and I think all his actions have been fairly genuine and consistent. Don't see him flipping wolf.

Tier 2: Cephrir sounds fairly genuine with all his posts. Unfortunately his lack of motivation disturbs me a little bit, but it's not super alignment indicative because I'm lazy too.

Tier 3: Snow hasn't really pinged to me very much. However, kdowns to me read like lynchbait town. I feel he made a few posts that scum wouldn't ever post. They were scummy lines, but I think they were genuine. Diamond's been fairly towny, they've had a few weird lines but I'm leaning towards his weird lines being outweighed by his towntells. Fire being in this tier is a bit of a gamble because it's conditional. He did a reaction test on Spiffeh which was NAI but Spiffeh is at the bottom tier for me so wolf Fire doesn't make sense with wolf Spiffeh.

Tier 4: The null tier. Will start with Ari. His slot has been generally inactive. Which I'm gonna safely dismiss as null. I townread a few of Kraska's posts but not enough to bump the slot she was in to another tier. I was leantown on kraska/Ari but eh I think that's too big of a gamble to make. SS has been fairly neutral all game, not super committal to any reads he's made. However my gut kinda tells me he's lynchbait. He's not a super strong townread or a super strong scumread, so null. Also Nacho did park his vote on Snarky at the end of day, but it's not super credible enough to give Snarky hard town points. Last but not least, Gamma. I just got absolutely trashed by a new player on the site and I don't think I'm as good as reading new players on this site as I am reading new players on my home site. I'm probably gonna need to reread the Key iso because I think I felt I remember him scumtelling a few times. But I did dismiss most of his posts as noob!town. So I think I might need to try again.

Tier 5: Hiplop. Oh hippy. I thought you were town for a bit, but eh. Not feeling it so much anymore. Kinda coming back around on my scumread for you. You have expressed to this game several times that you scumread Spiffeh. I have given you several opportunities to bandwagon Spiffeh with me, but you didn't help. Which kinda makes me feel you two might be bussing wolves. I'm not hardcore sold on your interactions being TVS or even TVT. I can see them as SVS. Overall you've been fairly neutral and non-committal to anything.

Tier 6: MoI. MagnaofIllusion was fairly towny d1. However d2 I think his push on Diamond has been fairly awkward and it's not sitting too well with me. Don't think that the exchanges he had with Nacho should clear his slot, because interactions are so very easy to fake.

Tier 7: Spiffeh. Camn was absolutely awful. I scumread every post from them. I wanted to lynch them so badly, but Waco bw was way too strong. I genuinely, genuinely think that Spiffeh forced a few lines and overreacted when Fire rxn tested him. Then we also have the dude buddying Diamond while he wasn't being lynched. Momentum starts to rise on Diamond and Spiffeh hops on that wagon immediately. That raises a huge red flag. Also Spiffeh is trying to get towncred by passing a reaction test from Firebringer, when imo that's not what town should be doing.

I'm gonna safely say that anyone in Tier 2 or higher has no chance of being scum, unless I'm being brutally pranked. I believe that both Bro and MJ are town, just can't put them in this list because I genuinely don't know where I'd rank them and it's a bit conditional. I'm a teensy bit wary about the people in Tier 3 but I'm dismissing them as town for now. If the people in tiers 5-7 are the remaining mobsters this game would be too easy so I expect probably at least one null read I have to flip wolf. Also there's possibly an SK on the prowl so I need to be careful about that.
