Probably my last Mushroom Kingdom cut for now, but as Drench said, that game had far too many players, and a good portion of them didn't bring a whole lot to the table.

I should note that Kscope asked other players that applied for Mushroom Kingdom(and got in) to recruit players for this game.

I don't disagree with Zilean being cut this early, but the one part that does bother me is it feels like it's fishing for a reaction, when if BBM were to reply everyone would shit on him.

It's no secret that Flameaxe is my best friend on Mafiascum, period. And I understand that his actions in League of Legends rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, which is completely reasonable. But I have problems with the way it was chalked up to Flameaxe simply being a dick.

It probably wasn't the best move for Zilean to join the game considering his state of mind at the time, but he did explicitly tell BPC not to put him in the game unless they really needed him to fill the cast. As someone who has been in that position, it already doesn't say great things about your motivation to play.

But as far as Zilean in the game goes, it's a bit of revisionist history to say he was completely inactive. The first boot on that tribe was based on activity, and Zilean wasn't even brought up as an option. Hell, he was going to easily survive the second vote too before Ashe quit, and that was over

the eventual winner of the game

. Once Dr. Mundo was voted out, he brought up several times how he was very much looking forward to working with Zilean before he quit, and that doesn't speak well to the viewpoint that he was completely uninvolved with the game.

I also agree with a few of his complaints about the game design, such as the reuse of the Eon pairs mechanic and the idol hunt being entirely random. He did not articulate those complaints in a way that was fair to everyone involved in the game, but I can't disagree with them.

Overall, if Zilean had merely been voted out in 17th place rather than quitting in the explosive way he did, I would say he'd deserve to be around 100 spots higher due to the fact that he seemed to be generally well-liked by everyone on his tribe, and gave a lot of funny commentary when he wasn't talking about quitting. I'm cutting him now to end the discussion of this for good, because nothing helpful can possibly come out of it.

I have no intention of adding to any drama in this thread, and I have nothing against PEG personally. However, I found some comments made by Nagisa to be in poor taste so I am making this cut. Other than that, I admit Nagisa was pretty fun for the early pre-merge, and added at least something interesting to an extremely boring game. Unfortunately, I feel like the line of what makes "good drama" was crossed here.

Muse aka EspeciallyTheLies from Battle of the Bands

. Muse was in a really nice great spot to start with. People liked Muse because she was sweet. And then, she entirely disappeared. Not only did she disappear, she self-voted in every TC she was at, and no one noticed. She came back long enough to just ask people to vote her out of the game and still voted herself.

rankers please follow this procedure when making a cut, you're already basically doing this but i'm writing it down anyway

making a cut and updating the doc

1. make the cut you awful person
2. list that person in the byseason tab, in the lowest spot available for that season
3. delete that person from the remaining tab (PLEASE do not just grey out the cell, delete all text from the cell)
4. list that person in final list
5. if you can, put a link to your post in cutsbyrankers (use =hyperlink("[link]","[name of cut]"))
6. add 1 to the cell at the intersection of your name and the season you cut from in the rankersseason tab
6a. if at any point you see a "FALSE" on row 25 of rankersseason let me know
7. have a sip of water

if you play an idol please do this

playing an idol and updating the doc

1. readd that character to remaining if needed
2. delete that character from byseason and final list if needed
3. list that character, the person who cut them, and what position they were cut in, in extras
4. strike through the number and link to the cut in cutsbyranker
4a. increase the next number by 1 (so if you idol'd 444, increase 443 to 444)
5. increase the intersection of the season and your idol column by 1 in rankersseason
6. have another sip of water

pirate mollie is far too genuinely kind-hearted of a person to ever win Survivor. At SurvivorMeet, this was very compelling, and made her easily the best character in that game! But Morcheeba sort of just stopped existing. And then got voted out.
