I was planning on being low, but not quite that low. I probably want to be a few spots higher, so that means talking to more people and participating more in the challenges.

These words proved prophetic because when Ashley didn't participate in the next challenge, she was out. Ashley was sweet and kinda nice to talk to, but at best, she was kinda there. She ended up confused with another player, Miranda, a lot due to avatar similarities and Miranda being the more memorable of the two. Ashley was close with a few people in our tribe, but ultimately extremely far down the totem pole and there isn't a whole lot to say about her.

I remember Trapinch being someone who was there and was vaguely likable but got unlucky by being the last to get into Vien's alliance structure. Rereading through her confessional, my memory wasn't wrong. Now that we're moving out of the phase of people who didn't do much and were voted out for being inactive, it's time to cut people who didn't do much and were voted out for being slightly more active.

Thanks for reminding me I'm awful. Considering the rest of Blue Bell took the jury and 2nd, Ciara was just on the wrong tribe at the wrong time.

I mean, I guess Link kind of existed more than the other two NS games. But he couldn't have been that great, since his own tribe booted him post-swap despite having a 4-3 majority. And is anyone really going to object to NS being the first player to have [all] three of his games eliminated from this ranking?

After himming and hawing on this for a little bit, I think it's time for me to make my stand.

FIRST OF ALL

, to avoid atrocious out of context, that quote is in NS's first Survivor, in the second anon game, talking about how uncomfortable having others post in his confessional is. It's a pretty crappy choice of quote all around, though.I think many people would be happy with this seeing change.

Secondly, looking at Link's character as the only person who is on this ranking list who was there, Link does not deserve a spot with inactives and low activity and unimportant players. He was a fairly important character in booting out the villain of his tribe, Crash Bandicoot, and had some pretty good early social successes that, if he didn't leave, would have seen Link not making it this far into the game as his tribe attended two TCs in a tribe of 7. He even managed to snag a spot on the majority allianceof his initial tribe, which is amazing for NS standards.

Thirdly, your choice reeks of "I'm not sure what to do and NS is pretty much universally disliked, so I'll boot him" which is against the spirit of this entire list.

And finally, Link asked to be voted out. I forget why.

To Ron's credit, I really like his confessional upon a read for this cut. He was surprisingly self-aware, knowing he was most likely the first vote on his tribe, and had he been more active, I think he could have been a fun character. If he tried as hard in PMs as in his confessional, he could have gone places. Sadly, Ron was relatively inactive on a tribe full of interesting characters (and George) and disappeared during his elimination.

Oh Chevre. Your characters can be so brilliant... but some of them flop entirely, and I just can't give Pikachu any credit. You were largely inactive once the merge hit. Is this partially the fault of the game's design? Yes. However, were you really ever in control of your own destiny? No. You were a floater vote the entire time, and while that's not specifically a BAD thing, you never truly had a characterization of your own. You were an amalgamation of whichever groups were in power at the time and lacked a real voice.

You were new and trying to get into the swing of things and figure out how the game worked and if this was your type of thing. You quickly decided it wasn't. The only thing anyone can really remember about you is there was one time you told Nappa to fuck himself due to a PM you read as threatening, but then the two of you were buds right after. Best described as kinda there, like most of that game tbh.
