Thwomp seemed to at least be aware of the fact that there was a majority alliance on his tribe that he was not a part of, but he didn't do a great job really fighting against it. Then he got voted out.

I actually remember talking to Thwomp a fair amount, and I was probably one of the ones who told him about the majority alliance. I think we miscommunicated, though, and he thought that I was part of the alliance, though after the first TC I was absolutely on the wrong side. But Thwomp still voted me on his way out, thanks, Thwomp.

The impression I get from this person's confessional is that they didn't quite get that there are multiple facets to this game. There's a smidge of complaining about the challenge, some votes for people for poor challenge performance, and being confused about his elimination when he was doing well in challenges. At least it's a coherent narrative.

"Tingle Tingle"

We love Tingle. Everybody loves Tingle. Tingle loves Tingle. Even my little nephew loved Tingle. But Tingle... you were a little too much Tingle. There are many words in the dictionary, and while "Tingle" is absolutely a fantastic word, I think that single word covered too large of a percentage of your vocabulary in this game.

You should probably also vote. If you managed to vote or made a significant attempt to save yourself, then I doubt I'd cut you yet, just out of love for Tingle. But at this point in the ranking, I'm not sure there's much room left for someone that left on a 12-0 vote.

Wish you made it farther, Tingle. You could have been a legend.

Aria came into the game ready to play. There was a lot of pre-planning done in Aria's confessional. She had learned from her mistakes in previous games and was prepared to be the Sole Survivor of Mass Effect. But... she had to disappear. And that's that.

Arnold started the game out on the right foot, forming several solid relationships. During the shipwreck and subsequent swap, however, people were viewing Arnold as less and less active, despite that not really being the case and more so just Radja's timezone kicking him in the ass. Arnold failed to leave much of an impression on the game as a whole afterwards.

Tingle should not be going so soon. The story of what happened with him lasted much longer than just that first TC. Coming into the third tribe swap, Ruto was still talking about it. It was HUGE. And the even better part was, it was an entire misinterpretation of a single sentence that wasn't even an insult at all. Tingle stays just a bit longer.

Never gone out first before... not sure if I like it.

Going out first sucks. Going out first while you're experimenting on a different playstyle sucks even worse. DN decided he was going to try to pretend to be a newbie, but a bad newbie. Purposefully PMed a lot less and wasn't online nearly as often to play that role even more. And as to be expected, it backfired. But it didn't really backfire in a super memorable entertaining way. There are other people who did the same thing only to have it be much more of an event, so that's why I'm cutting him here.

That first TC was kind of a mess... I think Cao Boi and Jessie were not Nicole's intended nominations, but they were her conditional picks and the deadline ran out. I believe she had intended to nominate Elissa and Keith instead.

Adam was such a cute newer player. Burning_Earth was far less memorable here than in Hogwarts as Voldemort, but about as memorable as his equally ill-fated Red Hood in Conclave (which really should be cut by now). His tribe went to Tribal Council once and he was involved in voting out the famous K9, but after that he was pretty UTR. He tried to stick together with his original tribe after the swap, but unfortunately for him they were more interested in people that weren't named Adam. After Clara was talking about quitting the game, Rassilon tried to go back in time and vote her out instead of Adam, but the votes weren't there.

Oh yeah, and the most interesting thing about his confessional is the one part where he talks about his performance in Hogwarts (his much superior character, as mentioned earlier) and this great exchange happens.

I remember Trapinch being someone who was there and was vaguely likable but got unlucky by being the last to get into Vien's alliance structure. Rereading through her confessional, my memory wasn't wrong. Now that we're moving out of the phase of people who didn't do much and were voted out for being inactive, it's time to cut people who didn't do much and were voted out for being slightly more active.

This one... I was trialling a more UTR playstyle than usual, having been told in my previous game that I "came off as a threat every game, and was terrible at hiding it". It... backfired hard, evidently.

My quit here was one part actual-medevac (I'd just had surgery IRL and felt like I shouldn't be devoting 95% of my time to Survivor), and one part "I'm probably getting booted anyway". I recall being told that was a wrong assessment, and I'd super over-paranoia'd myself. It's... another lesson learned. That hasn't stopped being something I try to do, at least.
