It's very clear to me that you simply forgot that you mixed Toto and TownCop in post 205, and didn't bother to read back on it. So instead you decided to manufacture out an answer that will make the town happy, even though that answer is as dodgy as the devil.

Can you clarify this for me. I actually don't understand why you think he mixed the names.

Immediately after he was accused, in #197, he posted this:

Basically calling 6 people less than town.

This feels to me to like fishing for evidence that he was throwing votes everywhere. Why not be honest and admit that he wasn't?

This is the only reason I have to lynch Gideon TBH. We still have 3 days left and I would like frank to either replace out or come back and

confirm he has no counter claim to SB

and ideally give his thoughts on this situation.

Understood, but that shows you're either confirmation biasing a bit too much on your scum reads, which makes it slightly more likely we are both wrong about Gideon as we were about SB (man this would be a bad D1 for me in this case), or you're fabricating cases on people and maybe are pushing so hard now because Frank is your buddy after all (and that would be one of my worst D1s on site but there is always a first time...).

Either way there is reason to be a bit worried.

I do understand that this weakens the case on Gideon, and I have to read over it again.

However the idea that I'm fabricating cases on the spot isn't valid, because this is a consistent belief that I stated a few posts ago (post 389). It's only now when it's pointed out to me that the belief is invalid that I retract and reassess it.
Read me on the toto wagon and me on the SmoothBlue wagon. I was pushing just as hard. I hate to call on a 'player meta read', but that's just what I do, and I believe it's valid because it's consistent with my behaviour in this very game.

I'm all for a push on Frank at this point, or Jasomega. In fact, considering that SB's claim is legit, I believe they're the next target, as I said above. I just don't think we have enough time in this day to do it.

Basically Spyre and HS just told you you are the lynch today unless something major happens.

Now would be the time to make that something happen or at least give all the information you have to help town as much as possible, if that's your alignment.

The way I work with imperfect information and trying to avoid confbias is mentally assigning rough probabilities based on player behavior and what that says about their likely motivation, I then update them when new information presents itself.

On you I am 80% on the first case and 20% on the second, you're still my strongest town read.

I don't see a mafia agenda behind Toto, the number of players he has accused alone would be dangerously high for someone that is just trying to survive during the day, add his stubborn streak to do what he thinks should be done and disregard what others say (look at him arguing with confirmed you on this page about nonsense for instance) that speaks to me of true conviction and not opportunistic or fake posting and I have a hard time believing it.
