General Rules:

3. I will not tolerate personal attacks, insults, disrespect. This is for fun.
4. My color is purple, or

, to be used when I'm editing posts. Do not use it in your posts.
5. Do not discuss this game outside of this thread or any other threads provided specifically for this game. Do not discuss other ongoing games in this thread or any threads provided specifically for this game.
6. Do not quote communications with me in any thread provided specifically for this game. Your role PMs are communications with me, do not quote them. Paraphrasing is okay, quoting is not. If you are unsure, talk to me.
7. Do not edit or delete posts in this thread.
8. Do not pretend to break a rule to prove something. This will be treated as if that rule was broken.
9. Play to your win condition as best you can.
10. If you are scum, you may not reveal your scumbuddies. If you are town, you may not pretend to (see rule 8).
11. The mod will determine the punishment for breaking these rules. In most cases, unless you break rules 9 or 10, you will be warned or force replaced. If modkill and you will become a Neutral Survivor and cannot win.
12. I have the right to change and modify the rules.
13. I may make mistakes but I will do my best to be fair and correct. This is my first game modding after all. :D

Voting, Lynching, and other dead activities:


1. Use bold tags or vote tags to vote. Any votes with incorrect tags will not count.
2. Votes do not have to be in their own paragraphs, but I recomend that you seperate them from any bodies of text to ensure that I do not miss them.
3. Unvoting is not required.
4. If it's not obvious to me it's a vote or who you're voting for it doesn't count. Please be clear and don't try anything odd.
5. When a majority of players decide on a lynch, a lynch is reached. You may talk until the thread is locked, but you still may not break the rules.
6. You may decide to No Lynch. When a no lynch occurs, the day will end regardless of the number of lynches remaining.
7. If a majority is not reach on a lynch by deadline, a no lynch will occur.
8. When you are dead, you may have one "bah" post because frankly even if I said no "bah" posts someone would still do a "bah" post. Warning: I will be strict on this post though and if I believe you are trying to give information or in any way attempt to help your faction win then there will be consequences.

Activity & Deadlines:


1. If a player goes 48 hours without posting, they will be prodded.
2. If a player does not respond to the prod within 24 hours, they will be replaced.
3. These rules will be made lax for players on V/LA. Please announce V/LAs in thread or to me.
4. Days will last for two weeks, except when noted in the game specific rules, or until all lynches are depleted.
5. Nights will last for 48 hours. Nights may end early once 8 players or less are alive. At that point I will allow night skips if all living Masons, Mafia, and the majority of VT's pm voting to night skip.
6. During the day, I will be unlikely to extend deadlines. During the night, I may extend deadlines in order to replace players.
7. Day 1 will start with 11/13 players have responded to their role PM's.

Game-Specific Rules:


1. Read the wiki page.
2. The game has a day start.
3. Mafia win when the town is dead or if the number of living mafia players is equal or greater than the number of living town players.
4. Town wins when all of the mafia are dead.
5. Mason and mafia have factional communicate that only works during the night. If for some reason they are not locked when day begins, you may not talk in them.
6. Do not PM any other player about the game for any reason. This includes factional communications.

It was a normal night for the villagers, but something was amiss. Three friends gathered that night to initiate their plan. They were not here to make friends. They had something else on their minds. Everyone else was the enemy. Everyone had to die.

The villagers awoke to a sight most shocking. The body of the mayor hung from the gallows, but this was not a suicide. He was murdered in cold blood. Questions and doubt were now on the minds of the villagers. Who are their friends? Who are their enemies? Answering wrong could mean death.


Day 1 Begins!

Day will end when majority is reached or on Wednesday November 9th at noon CST [UTC-6] in (expired on 2016-11-16 12:00:00)

Do I look worried to you? I thought Creature's vote was serious and it looked sketchy as fuck, so I asked him to explain. If he'd voted anyone else with the same reason I'd have said the same thing.

Jokingly pointing finger/RVS sets the stage and gets the ball rolling. If nothing is said, and everyone sits on their ass, the game doesn't move forward. You not wanting to partake in the initial set up of the game doesn't look good.

There is also no benefit in a no lynch on day one. To not lynch is to basically give the Scum a free day, and hinders the town of information later on. I wouldn't even think of a no lynch until much further in the game. This also doesn't look good.

This could either come from a hesitant newer player or scum not wanting to muddy their hands.

Aubrey is totally correct about the
no lynch
thing, but I feel like I should remind you all that Secret Agent Jin joined the site literally 3 days ago. This is probably his first game of forum mafia ever.

@oddmusic and anyone else who wonders:

I just didn't get Creature's joke. When I thought about it a second time, it totally reads as a joke much better than as a serious vote. So I get that.

However doom's "joke confidence" makes perfect sense to me as a not-joke. That's why I'm thinking he could have played it off as a joke after I called him out on it, and that's why I'm voting him right now.
