Yeah sorry, I've had a few very busy days filled with lots of modding and RL appointments, and then crashing for extensive amounts of sleeping. I hadn't had time to read this person I knew I was cutting that I know nothing about and no one talks about. Doing it up right now.

281. Vaati (ZZZX)- Hyrule

The reason that I make sure to read before I make my cuts are for characters like Vaati. If you went by his confessional alone, yeah he's pretty chill and like a newbie version of PEG or Drench without fun and flair that makes their confessionals and characters so entertaining. And that would be an incredible disservice to Vaati. He'd be easily forgettable because he didn't really do a whole lot except... for the Tribal Council 7 Discussion thread. There are people who go out with public displays(Looking at you Julie Chen) but this one was actually game changing, just not Vaati. It's honestly a thread that should be read in its entirety so check it out here, but for those who don't feel like clicking, keep reading. Vaati is very chill, doesn't really talk a whole lot because he's rather busy, but he's very loyal to the tribe. He thinks in terms of numbers and tribe lines. Top of the line, Sheepy Pawn Pagong-o-matic Gamebot. Ideal follower material. That kind of guy. So he lives through his first two tribes. But then Zora 2.0 goes to TC and he starts a thread with the following post:

Now that we are in tribal council 7 there is a very important topic that really interests the new commers and they should read it.

Naturally the members of zoro before the new merge were within out tribe. We have survived challenge after challenge to avoid this situation however the mods prob thought we were too outragous and decided to give us a panelity by forcing this council.

Anyway since you all have heard we have actually had ALOT of interactions and that naturally puts you into a disadvantage


Or so I wanted to say.

For this council the vote will prob be between volvo/bow. Some inner voting will happen and it will be decided. For one navi has decided to be quite capable at challenges including numbers. Also the survivor will prob be accepted as well as an old member after this situation after getting to know each others for more since we didnt really have enough interactions and naturally it is harder to get rid of a person we knew for a long time in favor for another we didnt hear off.

So after this council voting is done I would love if you would follow what is decided and try to pm all members about all issues. get a chat going and have fun. Getting to know people is the best way to stay safe.

No one else has decided this or even discussed this. No one has asked Vaati to do this. This is just Vaati.

the group we have is what actually survived till now. It is not a work of indivisuals but work of groups. It was because i want you guys to merge with us that i did this post. how easy is it to just PM the grup for a stealth lynch? so freakign easy isnt it? but I believe that we must survive at all costs. all of us.

"You know what? I think what would make the most sense here is to just talk about this with everyone. It's best for the whole tribe I think. I am sure that they will understand why and just let it happen. And then we can just talk and be friends after. It'll be fine." It is not fine. The thread kinda explodes because obviously, Bow-Wow and Vee are NOT down with this. But it also has the entire tribe start talking about how "Vaati, why are you trying to force the vote between these two people?" and how Vaati is easily the one person on the tribe that everyone can agree no one knows anything about and has the most difficulty talking to in any way. It's not just being busy, considering during this TC a lot of other people are also busy and having other life issues, he just simply doesn't socialize. So when Vee says "I have an alternative. I'm voting for Vaati." no one has enough of a connection to him to keep him. But this thread also makes Navi feel uncomfortable enough in this tribe that he chooses to use his mutiny necklace which allows him to swap to the other tribe, which also gives him another idol. Vaati realizes later on how much of a mistake he made by making this thread but it's way too late. This beautiful disaster has been had, and he's gone. His actions affected a lot of the rest of how the people on that tribe interacted as well, and how they felt about Navi escaping like that and a lot of the game after. But, outside of this one TC, he as a character is rather boring and this is where I feel he goes.

Hey, that's fair. I remember that this event actually happened, but I did not remember that it was Vaati who did this. I knew Midna was a great character and awesome, same with Zelda. I even remember hearing some things about Medli. But for whatever reason the fact that the thread was made by Vaati, somehow it was always someone else who had made that thread. I knew he must still be around for some reason, unless he had just been forgotten about? And it wouldn't be a completely shitty write up. I didn't know Vaati had such fans since I've never heard anyone talk about him specifically. Sorry!

I mean Vaati probably wasn't beloved by the other players but he did have an amazing boot episode for such an UTR character. Granted, he really was known for only one moment, and was pretty irrelevant for the six rounds before that, so I can understand the cut. I wouldn't have cut him anytime soon, though, because I think a lot of characters didn't have a "signature moment" the way Vaati did. But I tend to value a player's impact and story arc more than their personality, which is why I cut Zefron, for instance.

Lol. THE chatzy. Which one? I had about 10 in that game alone with lots of different people that wasn't just that alliance with Navi/Skull Kid/Barinade. Hard to offer someone a chatzy instead of PMs for quickness if you never meet them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
