now that i'm caught up:
i don't like this plan. coupling all the pairings together means that people will choose in their own best interest and ignore the rest. and odds are most of the gentlemen will be unhappy with the end result. almost certainly scum can abuse this system to keep their partner alive, too, so it's just gonna end up with a dead townie and most likely one or two pairings nobody is happy with.

sup. i post how i want. i don't even care that dunn did propose later because the timing of it was the issue. it's the kind of reluctance and safe play that scum tend to prefer, making an assertion but not following through on it, testing the waters and seeing how people react to make sure it's not a horrible mistake before they go ahead and do what they were planning to for real.

and especially since this is dunn we're talking about here. safe play is like the polar opposite of his norm.

also, the system dave is going with is completely different from what DIG proposed. DIG's plan was stupid, probably even worse (it gives way too much power to gentleman 4) but it doesn't necessitate ill intent to come up with a stupid plan.

Dunnstral might be scum, idek. DIG's plan is a little sketchy. As stated before, scum can get into the works and mess everything up. I don't really think it's AI though, it's just a bad plan. What I would like to see is more content from him. Sick and HS too.

i'm not applying a rigid concept to the game. i'm intepreting dunn's actions in this particular game as towny, because that's how i read the motivations behind their posts
'too scummy to be scum' is doubting yourself because you're reading them as definite scum
i'm reading dunn differently than that, i've seen a few things that ping me but the feeling i get behind his posts are towny and genuine

I haven't seen enough to make a real judgement call but I don't think anything that she has done is scummy.
I've seen her post like that as both align, and it's just more enjoyment of the game rather than trying to progress the game properly.
I can decide later on but I think you or Gamma need to stay behind and the other needs to be with DIG.
