Not sure if it's standard to remove the dead scum from the maf PT or not. Thoughts? I kinda wanna leave him with access since he knows he can't post there once dead and it'd be nice for him to watch his buddies plot I think? I know some mods remove their access though.

i don't remove people ever. if they're new maybe i tell them explicitly not to talk to the living, otherwise i think it's fun for them ot be able to follow along.

I'm wondering if I should have sent out a night start PM since Uzi hasn't sent in his action. Going to give it 3 more hours then send him a 24 hours remaining reminder I think, and inform him that I'll have him take no action if I don't receive anything from him.

Taking this to here to avoid spoilers, but if I were Titus right now, I'd take a risk and gamble on my neighbor being town, disclosing to them that I am a backup, and that I inherited Transcend's role, with the BP missing, meaning Transcend used it N1 and yet died anyway. I would tell them I was planning on using the gunsmith tonight. I probably wouldn't tell them I was one-shot, until I lived through N2, but once having done so, I would trust them wholeheartedly, out my result to them, claim the full role, and maaaaaybe claim in-thread since my role would no longer be useful.

I just don't know if Titus would use that. I'd imagine from a setup spec standpoint the neighbour should be mechanically clear to her, and I think she hinted at having figured out as much when she mentioned to him to keep them as a hidden masonry.

The reasoning it's written like that in the role PMs is because I'm lazy and want to reuse templates as much as I can.

I need to come up with something better for the redacted role PM flips though because they're ugly rn. I don't really know if I like having the flip shown as a quote either. Maybe I should have done an area or something fancier but I was lazy in thinking ahead on that.

I'm surprised Uzi has shannon town now. Following her last night and knowing she didn't perform an action doesn't automatically make her town with 2 remaining maf.

From a mod perspective: This had me double take and check my PM because I was sure I said she performed no action (same thing, but different wording which had me panic)

Personal perspective: WHYYYYY YOU STILL HAVE ONE SHOT THAT IS TOO STRONG A SOFT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

The PRs this game feel like they're all jumping to try and get shot. Is this just mod vision I'm experiencing?

Urgh... I'm not sure if I should have expanded on that. It's the role of a dead player, and I feel I should probably be fully open about that since it's likely a clarification/reading comprehension issue.

I facepalm a little every time I see someone suggest a game with two to three town PRs and two scum PRs as being "balanced".

Also, you're fine. The role flipped, so you were just clarifying it.

And also, one reason why Uzi might feel that way is Uzi might be used to games where the mafia mostly or entirely have night actions--with RB flipping goon, Uzi might have felt that between the mafia killing and the remaining mafia, that mafia would visit during the night whereas town would not.

Mostly ssbm got all the scum roles nailed, disregarding the ninja. They're assuming Uzi is an ungated Tracker though, because of the way he worded his result, partly. I think ssbm just doesn't have the experience right now to know how things usually err to townsided because of the scum natural advantage (not to mention that I think daychat on its own is quite an advantage), I'm kind of impressed to see setup spec coming from a fairly fresh newb tbh.

As far as Uzi, yeah, it's possible.

I wonder what Titus believes the setup to be at this point. I'm pretty sure this is all leading to a question of what would happen if a 1-shot ability were roleblocked too.

D1 was kinda weird though for some reason. I can follow the thought process Titus was running on but there was some resistance to the rb wagon (albeit mostly town resistance with some side of ironstove - which I'm still confused that people haven't caught on to since he was the one who made the meta case then flipped suddenly).

I think this is a case of D1 dragging on too long (or at least feeling that way) so town isn't rereading, and they should.

But I'm guilty of that myself quite often so ehhh. Laziness, mostly. In some cases people don't have the time.

10v3 with two town PRs is NOT balanced, even against goons without daytalk (MAYBE ok vs goon/goon/traitor). Every 10v3 mini normal with just two town pr, scum have won. Not a large sample size but still. Town needs three, including because it's ASSUMED they will always have three.

Now, you can have three town PRs and two scum PRs, but the scum PRs better be crap powers (and maybe 1-shot) and/or wifom magnets (like scum doc when there's nk vig or gunsmith, ninja without tracker/watcher, etc.). Also your town PRs need to be really strong in that case, like cop/vig/jk level strong.

You know, normally, a double-bus like Sesq is pushing would be suicide:
Be on the scum wagon.
And then point out

exactly how the scum were on the scum wagon

And use it to push your scumbuddy.
In a game where your scumbuddy is your only PR and you're up against a whole town which can contain unpleasant surprises.

...But honestly.

I think that if Sesq dodges Titus's gunsmith investigation, that Sesq could actually pull off a solo win right now, in spite of having to deal with Titus, her clear, the doctor, the neighbor, and the follower. (Which Sesq also needs to dodge.)

It's a bit of a challenge, but it's manageable.

I think it's amazing that the scumteam doesn't need to do much this game for the town to out their PRs and basically implode from there.

Also poor Rask. He jumped at the replacement request for me and I don't think he wanted to be scum xP
