Human is right, I signed up for the game pretty much only because of Jester and because I was fangirling over masquerade parties earlier (totally unrelated but hell of a coincidence). We had planned that pairing all along.

I'm inclined to agree with Dunnstral, at least in that MDS really does need to do some explaining regarding why she essentially chose to make her partner lynchproof for the day at such an early point.

But in what way does that make her scummy? She would be picked anyway as there are less ladies. Now that pair is being looked at for that (for example by you) while, if she's scum, it would only have a negative effect on her.

See, that's the thing. Town tend to do way more scummy things than actual scum do. Reading into EVERYTHING as deeply as possible, stretching the connections and implications, just...makes you tunnel on town.

SS could be scum, but I don't think we have enough evidence right now(which is to say, i don't think that post is damning enough to simply assume he's town)

tbh this might just be playstyle difference then but i like looking into implications in posts as well as motivations and 1. i see no town motivation for that specific shadow post 2. the implications are pretty damning as far as i'm concerned

i do think it is exactly as bad as i am making it out to be. shadow won't flip town. end of story
like notice how his response is to attack players instead of arguing against the logic. that's all he's doing.

I get the feeling you're so against pressure or something. Can't tell if it is a playstyle thing. There's nothing wrong with super early pushes. Plus it's super easy to get reads from a different setup than normal because usually the people who try to look like they're pro-town with their posts ultimately are people who are trying to coast on useless posts as sucm. Derailing these early pushes is not gonna help town.

Setting up MLs is throwing shade/making a bs case on someone to set them up for a lynch.
