in that situation mds acting lynchbaity isn't even unrealistic because maybe she just wants out of the game without ruining it by replacing. in fact that becomes more realistic the more i think of it.

honestly it wouldn't surprise me at this point. wouldn't consider it out of the realm of possibility esp. if i'm wrong about one of kagami/sad (one is a potential bus, two is just a mislynch)

parama has said some things that just don't make sense coming from scum, and was townread by far more dead townies than Arthur.

Oh right you made this point earlier and I forgot to comment on it. (1) But idk why you're trying to insinuate? (2) Vedith/Gamma died because Vedith left dance, I had a Shadow scumread wayyyy before Shadow or Maria scumread me, and Nahdia-Cerb died because half IC pair. (3) Like even if I were scum and in a similar situation I would have killed Nahdia-Cerb because they're IC pair, not because they're scumreading me. (4) I don't get ~scared~ of people scumreading me, I actually enjoy it a lot more because it lets me interact with people and better figure out their alignments (hence why I hate being IC).

A lot of people have been calling out her weird and terrible posting today, but they don't vote her, which is worrying and annoying me.

tis what I thought too, which is why I initially tried to force Jester-pair into endgame if you were town/town, but keep reading and you'll see where me and Kagami addressed this (and also the part where it's hopefully obvious if there's a scum in their pair it's Dunn, not her).

That said, I still have to play to my wincon. And I really believe Parama is by far the best lynch today, her opening to this day seems fabricated, her overall push on me reeks of scum trying to push a mislynch now (even if it will end up in a death for her after my flip - I think scum are afraid of me/scout endgaming them as a town/town pair that will be hard to lynch during lylo).

See, this theory makes no sense. If I was scum pushing a T/T pair... why is nobody backing me up on it? Wouldn't there be, like, y'know, another scum somewhere? Helping push the pair? Trying to convince their partner that you're scum? But that's clearly not happening.

where we're at atm is that Dunn being scum strongly implies me/mhsmith is town/town (I think it would also imply your pair is town/town but not 100%), and that if you're town it looks increasingly unlikely that Dunn is town (we've agreed that if their pair is town/town the other town/town pair is SAD/scout).

Why did you think that dumping Jester in the null pile was meaningfully town-indicative? If the Jester-MDS pair was under public suspicion (and it was), then just openly town-reading him without substance would look suspicious in its own right from MDS (and presumably if she was scum at least one partner would be likely to have pointed it out). Am I missing something? Or was this actually just a null moment from her?

You *are* missing something. I thought he was scum and I told him that in private, but I knew if I put him as town or scum, it would just accelerate our wagon, and I didn't want out of the game so early. I literally signed up only to play with Jester as a pair. This is how our private conversation went like (paraphrasing):

Done catching up, nothing meaningful. Everyone still thinks you're scum, and you know I'm not, so that's bad. Question: are *you* actually town?

Basically I thought his reaction was horrible, like he was trying to pull out a puzzled town look but just came across as tryharding scum. Proper reaction would've been (imo) "They think I'm scum? Must be a day that ends in -y. Don't worry, even if we end up lynched it's totally fine. And yeah, I'm town. I thought you were better at reading me lmao."

I'm putting this out there so you can all make your own judgements wrt what made me scumread him. But when more things happened, I realised he just legitimately didn't give a damn how he came across in tone and just wanted to solve the game.

I'd actually forgotten about this segment, and that was a relatively good look. Does anyone here know jester particularly well? Does scum!jester ever try that sort of stunt?

I've only seen him as scum once, and all he did was butter people up and hardbus his partner right off the bat.
