the master sword easily pushes both eldin and tetra into the top 50 at least, but it also drags people down, and what it did do was throw into sharp relief barinade as a character, and, hmm

the best characters to watch and the most fun characters for me personally are the ones that are on the ball or know that they're not on the ball, and barinade was neither. he was super certain he was fine and then he was not, and that's just not interesting to me, and an alliance throwing out their edna ma without even a struggle is not interesting to me, and unfortunately barinade loses out as a result because of that and because of eldin and tetra's sword mastery.

If by controversial you mean blatantly wrong, then yeah you did it buddy. Gold Star for you. There are at least two players left in Hyrule that have less character than Barinade does. All you've done is focus on F8 to F6 if you're categorizing Barinade by the so-called "Chatzy alliance". I get it, everyone hates chatzies. Everyone hates this alliance. However, it seems like no one actually read the game around what actually happened and instead is defining character by something disliked that didn't happen at all the way it has been portrayed. Due to this "Chatzy Alliance" hatred, a whole lot of things about Barinade's character seem to have been forgotten. Spectators don't just choose someone as most likely to win for no reason, and Barinade WAS chosen at least twice and as person most likely to take down Navi. Bari had alliances outside of Cat Party(the real actual name ftr). Bari was extremely well-liked by the vast majority of the game. He was swapped into a tribe as the only Kokiri on the Fairy Tribe and he didn't make it out of a tribe that would have fucked anyone else for no reason. Bari also didn't go out without a struggle, he just did not know about being the vote or just how hard I fought for him to stay. Saying that Bari was merely part of the "Chatzy alliance" is basically saying that the only part of him that ever mattered were about 3 rounds while you're throwing every other round of the game away as unimportant. Last time I checked, Hyrule didn't only have 8 players.

There are much more interesting spots left then him and while yeah, there are still a few who should probably have gone before him, I didn't think he warranted the use of an idol.
