Btw here was accountant postgame in the last game I modded of his, where as town he confidently threw down a vote in LYLO on a townie after having been wrong basically all game, and then went to sleep to boot
Call it a quirk of my playstyle - I believe it's important for town to find something they can hammer on and throw down the gauntlet. I did it for Huntress and I did it for Scarlet.
Wanna compare that to what he's done in LYLO here?

On a separate note, in case I die tonight, please don't quick vote tomorow. Re-read, ask questions, try and make sure. I don't really want to lynch scum today just to get a "close but no cigar" result cause someone decided to quick vote an hour or two into d4.

Unfortunately, ICs are not allowed to self vote as town. So I can't self vote! I agree that caught scum should definitely self hammer in this situation, and I have done something similar as well.

This is a disgusting quote mining attempt. The context in those games is completely different; in the first I was very confident about who I thought was scum, while in this game I've been uncertain about my reads - everyone was. If you want to see me hesitate in LyLo as town, check out Stop and Go mafia, where I was even more confident than here(was fairly sure Thor was mafia). Or checkout that game with the mod I can't remember(karnos, Transcend, Killthestory were in it, I'll dig up the link if you want) where I was town and didn't rush to vote in LyLo.

Why would I try to see other games where you might have hesitated when you're mechancially locked scum and I'm just casing and trying to convince at his point?
Also the relevant point is you discussing your play style and what you consider optimal. That you quick votes there isn't as relevant as the fact that you explicitly talked about the fact that you thought that doing so was optimal play.

Loopdan and Manuel, the decision is up to you. All I'm asking is that you calmly consider the events of the game rather than being swayed by mhsmith's big walls and cockiness. His repeated statements about me being caught scum who should self hammer are a way to bullshit himself into looking good. The tone shift from his earlier posts to his "Accountant is locked scum" BS is artificial and meant to convince you to vote a certain way. Don't take my word for it, either - look for yourself.

see other games. I'm trying to make sure the other townies don't fall into your quote mining attempt (conveniently timed at such a point where one misvote loses town the game).

Yes, and I've changed my playstyle since then, as evidenced by Stop and Go mafia, which was after the game you cited. Clearly if I still thought it was optimal play, I wouldn't have played the way I did in Stop and Go. Or do you think that I wouldn't reevaluate my playstyle after a game as disastrous as that?

Not to be a horrible jerk about it, but maybe. Like, I don't know you that well and plenty of players would write off a single bad game without worrying too much about it. Especially given your explicit "no regrets" comments made at the time.

Except that once loop and manny both didnt scum hammer you, you became mechancially locked scum. In that situation, it's entirely normal and natural to have a shift in tone and content from "I might be wrong" to "I am awesome, just caught scum, now need to wrangle a hammer". Wouldn't you agree?

Frankly, I would say that the tonal shift is it only natural, but NOT having such a shift would be suspicious. In that situation, scum!me would have learned nothing of partuclar value, while town!me learned quite a lot. Scum!me has to fake a reaction, town!me will simply react naturally.

You're right. I misremembered the events in Stop and Go(thought Day 2 was LyLo for some reason). Doesn't make a difference; my point is that your argument from meta is shoddy because I've changed my playstyle since then. If you'd like a different example, try Banana Split, where I most certainly didn't act in accordance with the quote you gave of me above.
Also, if we're going to talk meta, this is the quote you gave two posts after the one you quoted of me.
More seriously though I think in LYLO it's usually best to really talk things out, ESPECIALLY in an environment where things went by probably too quickly d1/d2. I tend to be super conservative in MYLO/LYLO voting (at least in a game with hammer vote mechanics) because at that point a mistake can = game over.
But you were more than happy to go "fuck it" and vote me on the spot. Does this make you scum? (Hint: it doesn't. Your behavior in LyLo makes you scum.)

That's incorrect. You were already sure I was scum before the lack of hammer, because you know that a Manuel-Tweet team was near impossible.

Votes aren't locked, so voting you wasn't something that necessarily made me scum. My comment right after you voted me in fact made it clear that I was keeping a close eye on proceedings, which town!you should have picked up on. Instead you just transitioned to trying for a 1v1, probably because it was easier than pretending to solve.
Now the million dollar question: what LYLO behavior of mine makes me scum? *grabs popcorn*

Near impossible and totally impossible not the same thing though. My confidence in being correct rose with each new piece of info, exactly as it should have.

As explained before, it's the tone shift. Yes, there is a difference between nearly impossible and completely impossible. No, the difference is not great enough to go from zero to hundred. That is not natural; that's the artificially exaggerated tone shift of scum who's confident in their victory and wants to make the final push.

None of the reasons I had for voting Norska have been invalidated in any way with mshmith's replacement, and I can only assume this is a last ditch scum attempt to lynch the player that everyone else has suspected at some point.
You chose not to consider that the vote itself was part of a reasonable sorting process (best read but still uncertain) and chose to skip to "must be a scum plan". That's because you wanted to seize on my vote on you as pretext for my being scum, and not have to pretend to sort me and be concerned that you might be wrong about me.

Note further that mhsmith0's arguments against me so far are:
1) It kind of makes sense that Accountant would act this way if they were goon.
2) Accountant is locked scum fmpov.
3) Meta points to Accountant being scum.
This is not a solid argument. This is why he has artificially inflated his confidence, because he is filling up the gaps in his cobbled together argument with cockiness and attempting to push it on you. Do not buy this.
