I wouldn't worry about Creature--he's a dog with a bone, but while he barks, he lacks a bite.

No idea, I've never really seen that from him. This was kind of a pregame thing though, and he's presently a bit siteflaked except for modding a Micro.

This kind of argument is difficult for me to make in character, so someone else making it would be nice.

If someone brings it up I'll post dive Aero and point out he's not really around sitewise.

Won't do it unprompted so it looks less like it's coached.

Well, yeah. Don't do it unprompted, but some asshat will bring it up.

Given this, I would go in expecting singleball. That doesn't sound like something where there'd be multiple factions.

Multiball will reveal itself fairly obviously so anyways via voting patterns, which I'll explain to you if you're worried in the game and/or I see any potential warning signs of it. Otherwise, assume singleball.
mastina wrote:Then again,
You win when all non-Civilization aligned players have been eliminated from the game, and at least one Civilization aligned player remains.
This phrase COULD be indicative of something, but I somehow doubt it's full multiball. The most I anticipate is scum + SK.
I asked mastina about multiball and she said this so not sure.

How do you think city-states would come into it? Or unlikely that they would?

5/21 scum sounds like singleball to me. And I'd speculate that a SK doesn't make sense in a game that begins as mountainous.

I'm gonna predict one mafia family, no sk, final answer.

I know this is going to come across arrogant, but I'm just going to call it how I see it. With Mastina trying to mentor Jae without keeping actively involved in the game, someone needs to take charge. Unless anyone objects, I am going to do that. I believe I can get myself into the end game, and depending on how the next couple days play out, I'll know who else I can realistically get positioned in case I get taken out (that best town banner puts a huge BoP weight and a 'why is he still alive?' weight on me if there don't end up being reasons to explain it).

If I'm going to play assuming I have to win the last mislynch, then I want PV gone now. Out of the players we're considering killing, he's the one I fear. I can engage with and keep Nero and ABR and Fro99er and Titus at bay for days if need be. I have
never
been able to fool PV.

I'm not going to override the kill choice right this moment. I want to see if there's any objections. We're all being a little too passive. Scum + passive = loss.

Define taking charge? I've got much respect for you and am happy to stop collaborate listen, but I don't much like being ordered around. Maybe this is a bit too antagonistic but sic semper tyrannis and allathat. Our Glorious barbarian horde need be a republic. Just with enemy skulls on pikes and such.

I do want to note that my preference IS for pv, I'm just willing to compromise if need be. Drixx makes a good point for getting pv first.

I can usually manage to take that role, but if the pace keeps up anything like that, I won't be able to control the conversation. Besides, as fun as this gimmick is, it's drawing shade. Go for it.

We can kill PV early, but the goal right now is to derail the runaway train that is this game.

Nahdia:
is there anything in your rules against the scumteam randomly deciding the kill?
As in, if I rolled a dice tag with 4 or so names on it (Frogger, Maxous, PV, Nero), would that be legal?

I ask, because...well, to be frank. Our kill is going to be a dice roll anyway. :P We could make it rather a literal one if Nahdia doesn't nix it.

I'm not the dictator type. I just like to plan and use town against themselves. I'm fairly good at it. The only person in the kill choices we're considering that I'm legitimately concerned about early game is PV. We seem kind of split on this point with two voices for Fro99er and 2 for PV. Can we get a tiebreak Pine? Specifically I'd like to know what you meant by "We can kill PV early, BUT the goal now is ..." -- Does that mean you agree with PV now, or do you think another kill accomplishes that goal better?

Yeah, it isn't as if the dice were deciding something that the majority of us disagreed with.

Our priorities seem to be Fro99er and PV. We'll kill one now and the other next. I think Fro99er is the clear choice because it clears the way for us to gain control of the conversation. I don't see that happening while Fro99er is around. PV is the type who gets stronger the longer they're around; he won't be around long enough to really get dangerous.

Also, Elbirn, you seem to be the only one dead-set against killing Fro99er. Why?

PEdit: To be perfectly honest, I am not personally threatened by PV. I've played with him before and successfully deceived him. I don't want him taking out my team, though, so let's kill him N2. Taking control of the conversation is our priority. To that end, I say kill Fro99er tonight and I'll be driving against ABR tomorrow. Removing voices that are loud and so egocentric as to be impossible to persuade is our top goal right now.
