Drixx have we ever played before? You've got a sterling reputation as scum, but I don't know that I have any first-hand experience with your style.

Caesar approves.

We'll have to find another game to play where I'm not using such an elaborate gimmick. I'm finding this one to be incredibly challenging, as it negates a wide variety of tactics and responses, but so far it has been equally rewarding.

Yeah, let's go with Fro99er.

I'm really digging having daytalk now. Plans for D2?

Oh, and I forgot to mention - I suspect the hidden priority build order has scum at the bottom, to give Town a leg up when it comes to building wonders that are meant for them, like the Doc power.

Seriously considering submitting nothing to get bumped to the top of the order. JaeReed, you should be near the top, you should go for a priority wonder D2.

@Mod: Does submitting and retracting a wonder build order bump one up? Or will Elbirn not get that benefit?

I'm becoming more fine with a fro99er kill, I did not realize how fucking much he talks and he's town bloc'ing hard with entirely town. Whatever conflict he has with abr isn't really worth it if he's not gonna push a lynch there, as evidenced by his end of day reads list of...

"Caesar, SSBM, Leon, davesaz...
Plus Max, Sondam, Notice,
Those 7 are my worse than null group"

Three of us are there, time to get killing

As long as you don't have a pending build order at the end of the day, you get the priority bump.

Sorry guys. I'm stepping away because otherwise I will legit rage shit all over the game. Not going to name names, but I'm sure you guys know.

@Nahdia - Fascinating game so far. I'm sorry that you have to find a replacement for me, but I wouldn't take a shit on a game you're running for anything.

From humble beginnings, you have shown remarkable growth. Leave your bronze for iron and rule with horse and sword. The sky above begins to reveal its secrets, a collection of heaven that uplifts our hearts and guides us to foreign shores.

The following Wonders are available for construction during the Classical Era. Please submit build requests privately via PM.

The Oracle
Each night, you may ask the moderator a yes/no question about the setup as it existed before the game began.
Petra
Each night, you may target a player to learn who they visit, if anyone.
The Colossus
Upon construction, you may
immediately
target a single player to form a permanent neighborhood with. This neighborhood will have day & night chat.
Terracitta Army
Once per game, you may target a player at night to kill them.
The Pantheon
Each night, you may target a player to protect from a single killing action.

It is currently the Resolution Phase. Votes to lynch may not be cast until resolutions have been dealt with. The following Resolution is on the table:

Heritage Sites
  • Cultural
: At the end of each day phase, non-town players will be told what wonders from that era were successfully constructed. At the start of the next day phase, this information will be released publicly.
  • Natural
: Each era, wonders from the previous era may be built. However, attempting to build an already built wonder will result in failure.
  • None
    : No event.
Tracker, 1-shot Neighborizer, 1-shot Vig, Full Doctor, plus a unique Oracle ability.

I don't consider the Neighborizer worth bothering with. Doctor might be worthwhile for Jaereed or Elbirn to try stealing from Town. An extra kill via the Vig might be nice, but not necessarily necessary. Any 1-shot might be a waste of our very limited wonder-building opportunities.

Oracle might be our most useful build, or it might be useless. I don't know. Depends on the setup.

Thoughts on resolution? I can see pro/cons for both Cultural and Natural, I don't want to see None again.

Go for the vig/doc. Top priority.
Heritages, lean against cultural, as natural seems to be the better bid.

Hmm You may be right, I wasn't even thinking of who they would target with a Vig. One of the lurker slots, or pretty much any of us, would be a likely target. Taking the doc power might help counter that, but incompletely.

No idea why town is so dead set against the cultural power. It seems to have the most utility for town. It would essentially make this an open set up, which makes counterclaims hard to perform and fakeclaims next to impossible

Not sure. I missed it. I'm current from mid-180s on, but needed to jump in

Considering a build try on Statue of Zeus. Prob already built, but it'd be nice to have, esp as I may attract a Vig

Agreed that vig and doc are top priority. A well executed game plan and getting the vig shot = surprise endgame one night sooner than expected

Vig is only 1 shot. I can try to build it though? I have no town record of being ok with a doc but I do have an okish vig record to point back at as my justification for wanting it.

Also saying I kinda think this too. Gives scum knowledge of what was build a night earlier than town gets it. The information gain for town is a lot better, because scum can collaborate on what they tried to build the previous night and know town has x if they didn't get it. It'd actually be closing the informational gap for town?

Actually I'm scumread enough to not be a likely nightkill and townread enough to likely not be a lynch at this rate. I could take doc based on that alone. There's possibility to protect like, LUV or A&N who might be vigged/shot redirected to by some. Or could protect in us if we think we're at risk of that too.

Only drawback is I can't doc myself and I think I'm a viable vig target lol.

Thoughts?

also ssbm when you get in here please do something. Even just spec on role synergies in the thread if you want and speculate on the beeboy wagon and frogger night kills. It's your usual town style to do that kind of stuff and having modded for you I can push that hard as a reason to townread you.

If you're struggling on what to say let us know and we can coach you here since we have day chat now.
