I don't think anything broke Nero's back because I don't think the reaction is at all sincere. I think there were either 4 or 5 town voting for him when he flipped out and that's when you start to get concerned as scum.

Probably 5 given that scum really don't seem to be bussing.

and this is why Leonshade needs to hang - hopping onto multiple mislynches late in the day while encouraging town to look at everyone else on those wagons, and when pressed on his jumping onto them, claims it was totally not his fault, the lynches were inevitable and he just sped it up.
