Each night, you may target a player. Specify a wonder with an investigative action,
as well as a potential result for that action
. If your target is targeted by the specified wonder, the result of the investigation will become the result you provided.
Am I misreading this or is it Vecna would target a player
AND
and investigation wonder and if his target (lets say Nancy in this case) is targeted by a investigation wonder then the investigation gets whatever Vecna supplied as a result...so its bus driverish?
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

that's incredibly possible.

This pretty much townclears me
I have literally invented alternate universes on DLP to get confTown lynched as to not lynch who I thought my recruiter was using Madoka magicka
It does nothing of the sort.
ScumBlade's eloquent performance left me utterly disoriented, debased, depraved and sent me spiraling into a horrific murky abyss with emotional turmoil and immense despair as my only companions until slowly I suffocate in my own gloom, surrounded by failure. That is not an exaggeration. I invented something so insane people bought it.

In civ games when a civ dies the wonder dies (except civ 6 sometimes) so can Hagia Sophia target a dead wonder as that wonder doesn't exist? Similar to how I can't target PV.
This question is... difficult to answer.
Hagia Sophia does not
target
a wonder, it specifies one as part of the action submission. It
targets
a player, one who must be alive.
Then the wonder has to exist right...Player is dead wonder doesn't exist? Aka no effect
As part of the submission for the Hagia Sophia action, the user must specify an investigative wonder and a potential result for that wonder. Both of those submissions must be
valid
, meaning that the wonder does have to exist as part of the setup (that has been revealed; you can't use it to try to guess at future wonders), and that the result must be an actually possible result.
If you're still confused, I suggest asking more specific questions.

Dear Santa-clause hating gamemaster,
Would you allow me to submit an order with the Hagia Sofia, where I:
Target a Living player (Nancy),
And state that if he was visited by a wonder that no longer exists,
that wonder would give a different result, for me to specify?

It was a longshot, but I thought she might take it since she thought she was going to die that night - and her making it into the new neighbourhood and getting docsaved would result in a scum-catch with that wonder.
This way, it couldve resulted in 2. I had hoped she'd think about this plan.
Why would she assume she would be KILLED & NEIGHBORED & DOCCED all in the same night?
Read the description of the 3 person neighbourhood wonder that was availlable last day. Its not that far-fetched with the little Alisae/Notice/Nancy thing they have going on.
How would Notice and Nancy have anything going on?

The information you're trying to reveal significantly increases the likelihood of scum being able to block a townie from building and steal the vig at no real benefit to Town.
hi meet my mafiascum gravestone, the flowers were probably left by camn or schadd or Prism, blow them kisses for me would you?

Yeah, but this has to have been predetermined - with so many small contingencies pre-thought out during the nightphase, that even you must have some pretty big question-marks next to your vecna read if youre honest, if the gm confirms this couldve happened, no?
Vecna, mistakingly clearing himself through absurd game-mechanics

For the record, regardless of my read on you which I will keep to myself, I once invented a role and spent like 10 posts asking the mod questions about it in chat as a goon.
2019 stats: Town WR 76.7%, overall WR 81.667%, 1 scum defeat involving a major mod error in lylo vs 8 scum wins.
So Vecna knew Dave was an investigation wonder and could have targeted him and Nancy/or RC. hrmmmm....
Who were your two targets Vecna?
Why aren't you voting me Nancy?
Why aren't you reacting to Nancy's vote on you, Leon?
