Hmmm.

Interesting.

Here are some links:

Dragon Hunters endgame reveal - Town wins, Hopkirk is town.

Marked for Death endgame reveal - Town wins, Hopkirk is town.

Greatest Idea OP with dead flips - Hopkirk is town.

Why did you lie about your alignment in these games? Did it not occur to you that someone would check?

First off, there's no incentive for me to actually lie about that since (one would assume) TGP would correct me in his next post. I simply mistook the games for more recent ones with similar names.

Oh, I think he was referencing my last three completed games: Dragon Hunters, Beyond
death
and
grand
idea. The names are very similar, and it didn't make sense for him to be referencing the ones he actually did.

Greatest idea was an ongoing game when he said he'd metad me (though finished when he said the name), so I assumed he wasn't referncing that one.
Marked for death I assumed he wasn't mentioning because I had two other town games since then that he hadn't mentioned (one shorter, one longer). I don't see why he'd scroll that far down instead of picking recent ones.

In which case I'd like to know why TGP picked MfD, and why he didn't notice I was confused about which ones they were. Also- since he didn't look at a scumgame- why he didn't look at my scumgame.
Plus all the other questions he'd been asked.

This is a reasonable question, but I believe it can be a deliberate strategy of obfuscation. I don't think cluelessness is a good explanation when he's outright avoiding questions and refusing to explain himself. If he at least tried to support his meta argument, I would be willing to entertain the notion, but that is not the case at all.

I wasn't referencing it; however I was waiting for it to be over to add it to the list because you were very obvtown there.

Marked for death I assumed he wasn't mentioning because I had two other town games since then that he hadn't mentioned (one shorter, one longer). I don't see why he'd scroll that far down instead of picking recent ones.
I wanted to scroll back a little further to get the idea of a larger timeframe.

I'm okay with which games you picked (except the lack of looking at a scumgame).
I was confused when I said I was TP/Town/Scum in those games as I thought you'd mentioned different games.

About 4-5 people have asked you the same question: what in those games don't you like/do you think differs to my play this game.

B/C his meta here shows that his behavior as town is very different from his behavior here.
 What exactly is different? Also, the second part of the question is bolded.

If you were willing to scroll back to look at a larger timeframe of Hopkirk's town games, why haven't you also decided to look at a scumgame?

Eh, it was an impulsive reaction to being lied to, which I retracted after an explanation. I don't really like your analysis of this situation, and I don't like how you talk about me in third person.

can we get a votecount and a pulse check on Blackvoid?

Now that I read Reck's post again, I also don't like that he reiterates how he's "blinded" by me. Like, it's flattering, but repeating it as justification for increasing his suspicion on me makes it sound like the first mention was intended to prepare the scene for just such a turn.

Can I ask what makes Korts & I "townie posting"?

This is way too fence-sitty for me but I have to imagine scum wouldn't risk taking such a wishy-washy stance? I mean this is BLATANT. I know this runs into the TSTBS fallacy but come on.
In post 262, TheGoldenParadox wrote:I'm going to trust Ari that reck and insanity are town because he became an IC.
You already had a town read on me before this.
Also, why does a dead player's opinion mean they're right? Town are wrong all the time.
This seems lazy, but it could be lazy-town or lazy-scum.

I mean, like, Ray didn't do a whole hell of a lot. I sorta want TGP to answer my first question considering the context of the game at the time.

The trusting Ari is worse when you consider Ari made it clear he wasn't invested and hadn't finished a reread.
@Reckless: Why are you only responding to/questioning TGP’s posts now? The first one you asked about there is ten days old. Your vote being on him until you switched it now also feels weird since (unless I missed something which I might have) you didn't mention TGP directly until now.

My vote was on RayFrost, and I didn't realize those two had swapped. And so I left it there.

I've also been neglecting this game a lot due to other commitments taking up a huge portion of my time, but I had the urge to iso someone today and I felt like rather than give a half-assed skimmed response, I'd actually look at TGP's iso and make an informed post

I have been in games where the 'obvious' 'too scummy to be scum' really was scum. Nothing that TGP is saying makes sense from a town point of view.

What made you think it was not real?

I agree that the Korts push on Hopkirk was weak, as it's hard to see scum intentionally lying about something that could so easily be verified. But reacting to thinking you had caught someone in a lie and then going back after getting an explanation also seems somewhat reasonable.

L-1 again.

Really not big on this post, and I feel like it's considerably more likely to be scum unable to come up with a convincing response to the questions and stalling until their wagon hopefully diminishes.

It didn't really look like an attack to me, it was there and gone too quick if you're talking about .
But it does sound like similar reasoning to what I was thinking regarding Hopkirk engaging insanity over her ignoring the formatting issue with his post. Do you have an opinion on that?

You've passed from the point of 'could be new town' to 'this is intentional'.

If you don't contribute anything else by then I'll hammer tonight.
Apart from anything else, there's no way we can take that into lylo.

Okay, you're clearly following the thread.

Do you have any thoughts on the game? It doesn't have to be a really long catch-up post if you don't have time for that.
