You're barking up the wrong tree. Probing peoples stated views is something I do pretty frequently. Asking someone to resolve a discrepancy and a stated view is generally a pretty good way to get a sense of how genuine their beliefs are. He was townreading and I was sheeping him, which he said was dumb. I guess I just disagree the question was focused on me. Maybe from your perspective. From mine it was focused on a perceived discrepancy with what he was saying and what he was doing (which i thought he resolved well enough, in case you were wondering). In post 113, Prism wrote: With what I have, I would bet on Sephiroth. I don't like his tone or the interaction with Roy, but more importantly, I hate that question to Nero.

90 is good imo. I like your "i've seen town do this" =/= 'this is town'. I see that fallacy a lot. General inquisitiveness. pushing a lot of different options.. generally townie. still townie, so I still stand by town lean.In post 91, Nero Cain wrote:

What's the reasoning for agreeing with this post? This seems jokey to me but also this could be scum trying to buddy town and distance scum. Unlikely tho.In post 46, Leeoon wrote:

Meta isn't always dependent. People change. In post 79, Sephiroth wrote:I'm happy to sheep Nero for the timebeing. I also don't really like the 'i have a plan, but I can't tell you yet' shenanigans from roy. I usually find this type of behavior to be an attempt at virtue signaling (yes I just appropriated that term for mafia use, come at me). Like if he actually wanted genuine reactions or actually had something that needed to be kept in the dark to be effective, he would't be like "HEY GUYS I HAVE A SECRET THING BUT WE NEED TO WAIT".
So those are my top SRs at the moment.
I have a good idea of TIAMs meta and Lalendras meta so I think my read on them will become clear before end of day.
Nero, what do you think of me sheeping you since you think sheeping is dumb?In post 98, Nero Cain wrote:What if he's scum that knows she's town?
It's a possibility. However, scum's job is to make "What if's" and such, while town needs to search for the most likely thing. I don't like this. It's not necessarily AI, but for now I'm scumreading Nero.In post 99, Luca Blight wrote:That's obviously a possibility.I legit forgot about this game :faceplant:

Just like in this comment, you seem to be pretty self-aware of your presence in the game. I think you came in strong, which I town-leaned initially. But I think that's exactly what you wanted. I think that scum have an easier time establishing a presence early day 1, and if done right, you can benefit from that late game.In post 130, Sephiroth wrote:

Bujaber what exactly is your suspicion on Lalendra based on? Reads based on a strong scum assumption this early are crap and honestly not worth anything before a flip. Let's keep the teamhunting for when we have a flip (pref. scum)
123 could be lamist but it could also be not so yeah let's not have this be too big of an argument tbh. Even town says stupid crap sometimes.
Reading back moz has one of the bigger postcounts but it's not quite rich in contributions.

My suspicion is based on this.In post 51, Lalendra wrote:I'm suspicious of any reads this early on tbh, this still feels like RVS to me.
If this is the truth why post it at all?
Like it isn't even clear who's reads she's referring to. Everyone's? If you don't have early reads doesn't mean others can't. I just don't see why it's suspicious. And even more importantly I don't see why town would even say this at all especially in such a vague and general way. It felt like she's dismissing an early read without specifiying which so as to not expose a partner.- Archwing

even though this is a pretty reasonable thing to say the context gives me weird vibes. I also enjoy that literally no one has pointed out the fact that it could just be a reaction test, or a post to get the game moving, or a prodge, or (what it actually was) my honest assessment that anyone who forms solid reads on page 2 is being a little reachy. It wasn't directed at anyone in general, it was a statement about the game.- Lalendra

Do you think the fact that it doesn't warrant a lynch on its own means its worth skipping past? Like I get what you're saying but I also don't understand why, given that stance, you would actively attempt to suppress/move away from that line of argument. it seems like it would be something you would monitor and see if it develops, rather than confidently dismissing its relevance to the current discussion. In post 148, Roy Tagliaferro wrote:Wasn't trying to sweep it under the rug as much, but sliphunting is crappy. I don't feel it is a valid argument for a lynch alone. What separates a scumslip from a townie failing to grasp the right words to say something? You are just a muppet...
