maybe a no lynch is good for now, to get this game on to day 2 and some results on our suspicions.

I stand, as almost always, against a no lynch strategy. We currently have the initiative. Barring things like vigilantes, the lynch is our only way of killing scum, and it's practically criminal to waste it like that.

Sooner a random lynch (truly random, I mean) than no lynch, especially this early in the game.

All right, CoolBot, I see why it's a good solution when there are multiple scum groups, and I can also obviously see the utility of the lynch as a pressure tactic, but in the case that we actually wind up lynching an innocent, why is THAT beneficial to the town?

Between my last post and now, four people have posted, and not one has given me an explanation of that point.

Someone please do so.

Clearly, if we are guaranteed to lynch an innocent, nolynch is almost always preferable. However, we are far from guaranteed to lynch an innocent.

Basically, Krishna, it comes done to if we do not lynch, we do not catch scum and we cannot win.

Also, no lynch provides us no information at all. The only time for a no lynch vote is in the 2 Townies- SK- Mafia situation where the townies hope the baddies kill each other (Prisoner's Dilema)

armlx, why do you find Saphireverde suspicious. You never stated any reasons. But like I said before, even though I don't like doing this, I am willing to go on someone elses ideas because I don't have any.

Okay, this is in advance, but armlx will be gone from March 23 until April 1. He is not being replaced, and don't be fooled, he is still in the game. He can be voted for among other things. Have a good Sprng break.

Well it seems that we have decided not to no lynch. Or more clearly to lynch. Unfortunately I do not have much time now and have connection problems at home, so hope to be able to post soon, but if I am away for some days that is the cause.

This is the only problem with games that start at day. we have nothing to go on.

Other then play errors.

Verde jumped on a wagon late, but so did the other guy (can't remember name now). The other guy has gotten off somehow, but Verde seems iffy.

Why
are
there two S-Verdes anyway? Seems a little... odd.

Ok, to avoid any conspiracies, SaphireVerde and StrykkerVerde are two different people, and they are not cheating or doing anything unlawful on this site. So, if I hear any complaints about the fact that they have "Verde" in their names, I will scold you.

So it's just a coincidence?

Armlx, I'm sorry I don't recall jumping on a bandwagon late, and if i did then its probably becasue i dont get to check my games all that often and it didnt seem so late to me. In any case I would like a little better explination as to why I am the best lead you all have so far as I really cant see it looking over the thread.

Also it's no coincidence, Sapphire is my girlfriend and she thought it would be "cute" to end her screen name like mine. sorry if it seems weird.

hey....i didnt think it was "cute." its one way i could remember my password. its the same as my AIM. i said the other girls i was playing with thought it was cute. Now i think its "cute" :D

If you vote
no lynch
, you have to bold it like any other vote, like the following example:

Vote No Lynch

Not voting doesn't mean you're voting no lynch, it simply means you're not voting.

Vote: mol
, the hell? Do you have any reason for voting me mol?

It would be funny if, for example, Stryyker was the cop, investigated his girlfriend, and found her to be scum. Bit of a moral dillema there.
I know there was another point to bring up when I made this post, but I forget it now.

Thats to lynch, and probably isnt coming off. Even if you turn out to be town, I really dislike having stupid players. This is bad even for you.
