I don't understand how me asking a question and saying I will answer it, but after I get responses is scummy, but alright. I'll answer them.
My top suspect at the moment is Xalxe, although if I told you I had a solid scum read on page 4, that would be a lie.
I think that viijay was giving off a town vibe from the tone of his\her posts, I asked that question mainly to spark discussion and to see if anyone agreed.

This is a bad bad bad post. Almost blatant AtE going on up in here.
PEDIT: I meant Acting Method's post.

Vijay, Why would not remembering that he'd already voted projectmatt increase the suspicion on him?

Also, re-voting for project matt isn't a scumtell. It's null, but could even be a towntell. Scum would probably be a little more careful. And Acting's last post is a towntell for me; scum aren't likely to go, "HMM, I'M COMING UNDER FIRE, SO I SHOULD MAYBE CHANGE MY PLAYSTYLE." It's a thought that scum are more likely to keep to themselves, and indicative that Acting is sharing all his thoughts in thread. It's not very strong, though, because Acting is fairly noobish and it could just be a newbtell.
But Acting has moved back down to null for me.

↑The Acting Method wrote:Really need to go through my posts before voting... hmmm, I may need to take a different playstyle approach if this one is making me constantly under suspiscion.
nice.
@ Amrun: because I still think DV is scummier atm, if only by a bit.
@ ProjectMatt: three things
(1) I'm a he
(2) why Xalxe?
(3) if you were supposedly "sparking discussion" why have you not questioned the null read on me?
P.edit:
@ DV: it just makes him look more opportunistic. Think about it, if he didn't realise he voted PM 5 posts back, it means he wasn't reading. If he wasn't reading, why would he place a vote, especially one on a wagon gaining steam?
@ Amrun: same thing as DV

It doesn't mean he wasn't reading, though. It means he forgot what HE posted. It actually shows a kind of consistency in suspicion.
But the fact that it is the leading wagon currently notches up the opportunism and makes it so yes, I can understand that interpretation. Just not sure I agree.

projectmatt, you only said that AFTER we asked you if you were going to answer them, that's why it was suspicious. Add to the fact that you were clearly asking for information and as far as I'm concerned that's scummy because you be scum fishing to see what we thought of VJ so you could match your opinions and seem townie.
That's why it seems scummy.

I agree with Amrun, although not quite null for me, but a bit less scummy.
Acting, how would you describe your current playstyle? (Before any changes)
PEdit: @vijay: I guess I disagree. I'd say it's easy to miss things, especially in your own posts.
PEdit again: Acting, I completely disagree that matching one's opinions with townies is a way to seem town, but your overall point I agree with.

Hot headed, and into activity, making posts in the heat of the moment and not thinking things through, a tendency to say things and then look at them again later and go "what did I mean?" making something that seems only slightly scummy and digging myself into a worse situation.
I did word it weirdly, but frankly how Projectmatt worded things seemed a bit scummy, that or he's telling the truth.

The part in bold is really what makes it seem scummy or at the least anti town.

Another thing that makes me think Acting might be town (or scum with Xalxe) is that in one of his recent posts, (don't recall the number but it was on the last page) he defended Xalxe when his logic was being attacked. I don't know. It just seems strange to me that scum under attack from someone who blatantly defend the logic of the person who's attacking them. I don't want him gone, at least not yet.
Acting, explain a little bit how you feel that makes it seem anti-town, though. And fair enough. I figured it was implied that I would answer them eventually, but in retrospect that was silly.
Er, I don't really see The Acting Method as that scummy anymore ad Adc has made 3 posts (I think) but hasn't really commented on the game at all.

Okay, I'll spell it out to you, in the section I quoted I'd split it into two halfs, the first half (where you give your read) mirrors what most of us said. the second half (where you give your motive) essentially could be seen as "I knew this guy was town, I wanted to see if anyone else agreed with me so that if they didn't I could agree with him and get him lynched." Now as I was typing this I realized that due to the way this game is set up, we have a couple of possibilities (and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about any of them.) 1: we have a mason pair of VJ and Project, that's how Project knows VJ is town (Unlikely but that's my theory.)
2: Project is our cop (normal not one shot) who used his ability on VJ (I think it's either the former, just a hunch or Project is scum)
Project, can you remember the page number?

True enough, but then Adc is not one to be uber active (Played with him in my first game here.)

No, my plan wasn't to lynch anyone who disagreed with me. I wanted to see if anyone else was having a gut town read on him and if any of us shared potentially hive-mind type scumhunting. It was also just to make conversation.
Also, the post was #83

@The Acting Method: Neither of those are possible. We have an innocent child (Amrun) so we cannot have masons. If we have a cop, that person cannot have used his ability yet, as that is a night ability and night 0 does not count. There is no logical reason that projectmatt could know that vijay is town, unless he is scum. I don't think he ever implied that he did either.

Okay, I'll look that post over, and Project, you misunderstood what I meant...
I meant that if you were scum and other townies found him scummy you'd have agreed with them and called for vj's lynch.
That's why I find your behavior scummy, My point is that if your wording and behavior were such that makes me think that if town was to all feel vj was scum you (if scum) would have voted him instead of saying he was town.
In other words, your wording and behavior sounded like a scummy tatic to get vj lynched.
And now my minds going paranoid with a different possibility...
Now, no he didn't say it, but he didn't say he wasn't positive either, at least that's how I interpreted it.
I see the possibility that he's scum more likely but that's my other theory besides it and just town playing scummy.

Also, giving Adc75 an excuse not to contribute is anti-town/scummy (haven't decided which yet).

So if we aren't a mason pair, he's scum you say?

Huh. You're right, my apologies. The cop theory still doesn't work though.
DeasVail is right however, you should lay off the PR speculation. Figuring out what the combination of roles is might be a good plan (for future days, once we have night info), but putting people in them today is very anti-town.
@DeasVail: There is no excuse not to participate, but some people simply don't post as much, or as often. I will judge him based on the quality of his posts when he is present. Which admittedly have been pretty poor so far, but the game is young.

Well, if you aren't mason pair, either he's scum, He's just a scummy town, or You are both scum... The latter is the least likely to me.
And Deas Vail? Where did I say that gives him an excuse to not participate? I merely said that he's not that kind of player, not that it's a valid excuse not to participate.
Just saying this isn't the only game where his posts are few.
Meh, on the PR speculation, I only did it because I was explaining the reason I thought he was scum over something else and really I could have not brought it up at all.

Well, if projectmatt is not scum, then you're just giving scum more info for deducing town power roles and not really helping the town at all- such lack of concern indicates scum to me.
What I meant by the whole adc thing, is that if he is scum, then you've given him an excuse to lurk. Although regarding that, I think we misunderstood each other. My point was not that he hasn't posted much (which I see could have been unclear), but that he has made posts (particularly in response to Xalxe) of little relevance. So I kind of take back what I said about that.

Clearly we misunderstood each other, and yeah, doing role speculation is a little silly. But then I think I was more concerned with explaining myself so I see your point and I apologize.
I should learn to keep my side thoughts to myself if it could possibly hurt town.
