Listen -- I had reason to believe that you were going to vote me
Everyone who's not scum needs to take a close look at all of those who were online and didn't bother to unvote me when pj's bogus deadline was approaching.
And petroleumjelly -- I'm frustrated, not mad at you. I play hard and I don't blame you for doing the same thing. It just sucks that, if you're town, this backfired. In future, just be careful with posting restrictions. You can't ask a bunch of questions without first finding out what the restriction IS. To repeatedly demand multiple smilies out of me when I could only do two (hence the "peace" smilie) made it nearly impossible to answer you accurately. Think about all of the possibilities before jumping to a conclusion about what's going on.
The day's rush was unreasonable. Medicated Lain never even GOT here, for crying out loud. Even if you're convinced of who should be lynched, there's no reason not to get as much information as possible out there. At least my lynch will give valuable information about pj's investigations.
despite
my best efforts to make you understand me. Do you not think it was reasonable for me to believe that, especially since you were doing a countdown and saying things like "lynch vote looming"? I have no idea how you thought threatening me with a lynch in "two minutes" would induce me to continue to honor my restriction. I mean, what's the point?Everyone who's not scum needs to take a close look at all of those who were online and didn't bother to unvote me when pj's bogus deadline was approaching.
Anyone
could have stopped this by simply taking the power out of pj's vote. And petroleumjelly -- I'm frustrated, not mad at you. I play hard and I don't blame you for doing the same thing. Hmmm. MeMe's right I guess we could have waited, or I could have unvoted, but I just didn't know what was happening with all the craziness. I guess I should have unvoted, but we had a cop telling us MeMe was scum! Gah!
Talk nerdy to me.

Yes, I know the voting was unreasonable... in fact, while Yaw was on, I was going to ask him to unvote so I could "not have to put on the lynching vote in case you have some retaliatory effect when you die", and ask him to bite the bullet for me later, but he disappeared before I finished my post. I didn't want there to be 5 votes on you at any time, but it happened anyhow, and I had to work with it. The "deadline" thing occured to me last minute, and it was not my brightest idea (as you can tell), but I wanted you talking if you were scum so I could say "we'll lynch Meme later, and make everybody talk now".
I'll admit I was a little frustrated too; I had written your posting restriction down as (and this is from my notes): "can post multiple emoticons, can unvote and vote, can FoS, but does not seem to be able to talk". I thought I had already gotten around the "two emoticons" restriction earlier in my questioning, but looking back, the questions I gave you didn't really give you an option to express a maximum of two emoticons per post: I was trying to be as careful as possible, but one ambiguous set of questions ruined all of my later questions. (Also, for the record, I thought you could only vote for the person who had last unvoted for you, until you voted for Medicated Lain, I believe).
Further, I really don't see how that posting restriction fits in with the flavour of this game. Nai said we could communicate through "pipes", and that we could determine scumminess through
I suppose I will chalk this one up as a learning experience, and I hope neither of us walks away with any hard feelings.

. Seeing as you literally "had no voice", I wasn't too keen on believing your restriction, although I was willing to see where it would go.I suppose I will chalk this one up as a learning experience, and I hope neither of us walks away with any hard feelings.

No hard feelings here. I just can't help giving every game everything I've got. Sorry to come off a little bit crazy-womanly.
I hope that giving into the temptation to blurt all of the things I was dying to say doesn't lose us the game. I truly thought it would be over once you came back in the thread. Definitely learned an ironic lesson there...I've told tons of players never to give up unless their death scene has been posted (yes, I know my death scene hasn't been posted, but modkill is imminent).

Umm...well, that was certainly crazy. Personally, if I were here, I don't think I would have believed MeMe, with a claimed cop fingering her. I also don't understand how you got your restriction late. To give someone a late posting restriction seems like a pretty sure-fire way to get them lynched anyway.

*kkrckt*Well, the first day of voting and unvoting has ended, folks. We've gotten word that a hero under the pseudonym of Meme has been lynched. However, I should probably say villain, because Meme was revealed to be none other than Muska, a man so heinous he tried to command ultimate power to rule the world! Good thing he was lynched. We're heading into night, and I need some sleep. I'll update you all in the morning. Sleep well! *kkrckt*
Meme, Muska, Mafia, has been lynched. It is now Night 2. Please send in your nightchoices before Monday, December 13th. Even if you choose not to do anything, please PM me.
Ask and Thou Shalt Recieve! Oficially (lazy) vote update!
End of Day vote count:
Meme (6): Orbiting, VitaminR, Elvis_knits, Aureal, Yaw, Meme/b]
Medicated Lain (1): Enderx
Medicated Lain (1): Enderx

*kkrckt* It is now day 2 of the investigations, ladies and gentlemen. If you recall, yesterday the people at the bath house lynched a mafia member. Day dawned and there were no surprises for the bath house members. After a quick breakfast, deliberations started up again. *kkrck*
No one was killed last night. It is day 2, with 10 alive. You have 6 to lynch. Good luck.

Say, I'm still alive. Thanks, Doc(s).
Well, I'm sorry to say my investigation didn't go anywhere last night. The bright side is, I now have a confirmed innocent to work with, so that narrows down the field of scum somewhat. Obviously, I will not divulge that person unless it is necessary.
I'm still a little mad about how quickly Day 1 went (though I guess it was mainly my fault). For that, I apologize to the town: I didn't catch onto Meme's posting restriction until too late, and even then, I thought she was lying her pants off, and I wanted to prove it by forcing her to talk. Not by brightest idea. We may have lynched scum, but we could have gotten so much more information had not the day gone by so fast.
I would like to see much more discussion today. Simply to get things flowing, I will ask a few questions to the few people who stood out to me on Day 1.
Yaw -- Although voting for me early on is perfectly justified after I had placed a third vote on Meme without explanation, I have to consider that you were attempting to defend her by counter-accusing me. Also, you "held off" from voting Meme upon my claim, and then when I made it explicit that I
Aureal -- The whole time Meme was being questioned (and after), you seemed to be finding ways to poke holes in my sanity, or implying that my voting for Meme caused a posting restriction. I would like to see this addressed.
Medicated lain -- You have not spoken in this thread at all. Uh... I would like to see this addressed. I am also becoming repetitive.
Cropcircles -- You seemed to be here for my whole conversation with Meme, and yet you never voted for her. You seemed very active towards the beginning of the game, and then petered out once I began cornering Meme. Then, after not having voting for her and twilight fell, you stated that you would not have believed her posting restriction had come late anyhow (which would imply that you would be willing to vote for her). I would like to see this addressed.
And this isn't to say that I don't suspect other people, but these are the four people I would most like to hear from at this point.

did not
want Meme lynched, you replaced the 5th vote I had taken off. To me, it looked like you were trying to get on the lynching team so you would not appear scummy, while also aiding the death of a teammate so that she could not give any more information than I was meant to know. @Orbiting: What makes you think the silencing is a role-blocking action? Or did you mean to say 'post-restricting' instead of role-blocking? And since I couldn't figure it out after rereading day one, why did you specifically ask W!nt3r if he'd targetted Aureal? Or rather, why W!nt3r instead of someone else?

Role-blocking may have not been what I meant. Targeted, though, that was the important part. There's a role that targets someone at night and then the targeted person can't talk the next day. I think it's an action because W!nt3r could talk the first day, but not now.
I asked if he'd targeted Aureal because he voted/unvoted Aureal. MeMe also did this, and I was wondering if it was relevant. If I were post-restricted, and I had some sort of information, I would try to get it out in some sneaky way, so I envision that other people might also do this. That seems to not be the case though.

It's better to be lucky than skilled, surely. However, it's a lot easier to be skilled twice than lucky twice.
