I'm not defending Sakura, though my statement might appear to have that effect. It does players a disfavour to suggest there's a clear method of outing scum such as 'first voter is scum'. If town plays that way, town will lose.

Ah i see thanks. As on the 1st post = scum thing, if that was widely known scum could just wait and let town get the first vote so the town sees them as scum, so it's not a reliable tactic for finding scum imo.

it's fine, at this point in the game anyone can be scum, so im in the same situation, i dont even know where to start looking.
As to where is everyone, well it's sunday they're probably out having fun and haven't checked their PMs, my guess is that unless someone replaces out Monday we will have more activity.

It's dinner time in some of the most populous parts of North America, Irish. I'd expect participation to ramp up a bit in the next couple of hours.

Being skeptical of everyone is good. Especially on D1. Keep in mind these games have two week long days :breathes into paper bag: so there's plenty of time to become more familiar with the other players and sniff out who the real scum are. or we'll sniff you out.

Irish, where do you get the impression that the first person to vote is likely scum? Explain that to me. Also, don't play the sympathy card, it's going to further my scum-read on you.

@ Thor: Why not? and I wasn't exactly defending Neko per sey, Just stating to Irish that Leniency this early in the game isn't to bad a thing.

as for why Sakura is town, I get the feeling that she is trying to legitimately scum hunt, and truly doesn't understand where you are coming from, though is trying her hardest to go after her scum reads. I find her reasons and actions to be fairly reasonable for town, and not so much for scum.

If your question is addressed to me, I haven't yet seen you as scum, but for someone who claims mafia experience, your remark about scum posting first seemed oddly misguided.

He didn't clam having mafia experience, in fact he stated being new as well as i did. Did i miss something in his posts?

Games I have played. In general, the most eager to lynch someone wants to speed up the process of killing. Again, If you don't agree with me, that's fine.

My experience does not mean you have to believe what I say. That was my opinion, that's all. We still have two weeks to weed out the scum. I'm not worried about you guys, because you seem to be town for the moment. However, you all ganging up on me does make me think. I am worried about those who are not posting as much: Shawn, Thor, and those who have not posted at all. Sakura, sycorax, Marangal, a question for all of you: Who do you think is scum at the moment?

If i thought someone was scum i'd have FoS'd them by now, or voted them rather, but why are you worried about us ganging up on you?

1. Which...is defending the slot. I'm just curious why you feel the need/desire to. Didn't you want to see Neko respond to an attack in order to gauge the slot. Heck, maybe Irish did too for all we know. You then stepped in and prevented that, protecting a slot and also denying scumhunting. I want to know why - and saying 'why not' is not a good enough answer.

lol! Irish, I don't think you have more than one vote on you yet. My vote is still on Shawn, though it could move at any time I think there's a better candidate for scum. You're beginning to appear as if you are flailing, which ime can indicate nervous scum.

If you are town, stop worrying about people fosing you - there are thirteen days to prove you're town and for us to find scum.

Or we could just lynch Irish now.
