@enomis
And that matters how? If scum are able to blend in and become obvtown, they can make people sheep em.
Then if we have followed this plan, we'll just do what the majority wants, which in this case will be affected by said people.

SafetyDance, there are no votes this game (at least yet). Read Rule 9.

Mafia is basically doing what the majority wants.
Lets say we have 7 people. Wisdom wants to lynch A. But 4 person wants to lynch B. How does wisdom lynch A?
If scum are able to make people sheep em, they are good? In a normal game of mafia, they just win the game if they can do that?

What are you talking about?

Wisdom convinces those 4 people to sheep him and lynches B.
It's all about how able scum are.
If able scum were able to win every time, we wouldn't be playing. Why should we follow plans that make it easier for them to win?

So in this case, if wisdom convince majority to fake-vote one person, that person would be challenge and sheep wisdom to lynch that guy. Whats the prob?

If able scum is able to convince majority to sheep them everygame, Tell me how would they lose? They lose when they are aren't able to make people sheep them and they are lynched.

Dude.
Say your pair and another pair have four town in them.
Say I am scum and I know that.
I convince people to sheep me and make those two pairs challenge each other.
Boom, instant mislynch, AND lynchfodder for future days.

Wisdom is town.

Amrun is scum. Off the bat strategy speculation is definitely more likely to come from scum than town and I love how she is trying to prove shes town in 94 without just saying she is. The argument with wisdom makes zero sense from a town perspective, especially since she thinks hes town.
In post 48, Amrun wrote:We should all also agree to use the vote tags for real votes because it's a different color.
Why does this matter?

If people are reading and comprehending the thread, there is no need for overly formatted voting. That just lets people be lazy and skim crap anyways.
In post 48, Amrun wrote:we will lose this game fast.
appeal to fear. And probably not unless you think its scum just targeting town/town groups and if that is the case then just PL their scumbutts for doing stupid shit like that. Self-correcting problem.

Wow, and that talk about experience is BULLSHIT and completely irrelevant. Experience does not make someone a better player and really why the hell are you arguing this? You could be scumhunting people but instead you are having a pointless argument with someone you think is town - or do you?

Oh and the quick shift of tones suggests that amrun was faking all that outrage in the first place - which she was because shes scum so.

Let me officially add a FoS: Elyse too, since she apparently came in to answer a bad question, made no analysis when she got the answer, and disappeared.

Do you agree we should fake-vote etc?
I agree with her suggestions.
In post 84, enomis wrote:@Elyse: If it was serious what does it mean about wisdom. If it was not serious, does it lead you to having a different kind of read on wisdom?
In my first game onsite, I played with Wisdom and he was very polite and intelligent, and he seems very different here. (Not saying you're dumb and rude, just the FoS on Amrun was bad) It's surprising to me that attacked her with so much venom when his argument wasn't strong. But, his meta could have changed/he felt angry that Amrun called him inexperienced, so it's not really alignment-telling. I don't see him as town, like Amrun does, though.

@AP
Why do you agree with Wisdom's FoS?

P-edit: I still don't see how Amrun's town-minded suggestion makes her scum. That's like saying "Elyse did something townie" "Scum wants to look townie" "Elyse is scum". I'm just not following the logic.

P-p-edit: Relax. I'm here. I had to run to the store.

Shes focusing on a plan that really goes without saying in the first place (cast votes in bold, wooo ok) and won't stop elaborating on it as if its something well thought out when its really just common sense.

And shes getting uppity and emotionally vested in this argument with Wisdom who she thinks is town. Then drops all that rage immediately. Not a natural progression of thought. The argument about experience is an appeal to authority and, really? Early discrediting of people that she is Fosing and arguing with (despite thinking wis is town).

She did not do something townie. Scum are the ones who will try to suggest such things to gain early towncred. I know I definitely would as scum.

Re: your "meta change" thing; first of all this is not The Road to Rome, second of all I don't play the same in all my games, and third of all there has been a considerate amount of time since then (this you noted)

When you say that you don't see me as town, do you see me as scum?

And implies she is town for speculating on all this common sense and AtF in the first place? No.

Town typically doesn't argue bullshit with someone they think is town.
