Also not putting pressure on someone so early in the game could be just a playing style and have no relevance to alignment
I have to agree your argument for Wake lynch is weak. You seem trying awful hard to lynch Wake so early in the game with not very good evidence. Either you are tunneling or you are scum trying way to hard to lynch Wake.
Responding to this post chronologically:
The question seemed out of place. The real point about it though was that he didn't care to get the answer.
I am not trying to get myself lynched.
Wake said in his first post that as town he likes to put pressure and ask questions etc., so it does in fact have relevance to his alignment.
Why is my argument weak? I pointed out that he wasn't really trying to catch scum, which shows a scum mindset. In response to the little bit of pressure he overreacts and looses his head, which also shows a scum mindset.
I am not tunneling nor scum. Tunneling would be refusing to accept that he may be town and focusing all my attention on him. I'm doing neither. I will take into consideration that he may actually be town, but only when my points against him are actually logically responded to.

How is it out of place sense it was way at the beginning? I can see if he had posted it mid day how it is out of place but not how it is when it is early in day one. Even if it is odd that to me does not necessarily read scum. I do not think this is a good argument for Wake being scum.
Umm erratic behavior tends to get people lynch in my experience so I was wandering why you were acting the way you were.
Noted.... but just bc he says he does something and does not follow through does not mean necessarily mean he scum.
I disagree with you about scum hunting ... Not everyone scum-hunts so early in the game. In later play I can see this as a valid argument but the game just started late yesterday/ early today so its way too early in my opinion to make such claims
Um yelling Die Scum die at wake seems like tunneling behavior especially so early in the game. You seem pretty set on the idea and dont seem to accept the possibilities he might be town.

Voting , unvoting and voting again could be a way to hide your motivations.Something scums has to do. While it is not totally scummy I would say it could be suspicious behavior. Guess I should of used suspicious instead of scummy. Anyways I thought it was something that needed a better explanation . Is that a satisfactory explanation?

I would argue that voting is an excellent way to reveal your thought processes and that I completely telegraphed my motivations for them.
But I definitely can see where you're coming from.

@Fuzz: The fact of the matter is that Wake said in his first post that contributing and pressuring and asking relevant questions etc. is what people should do as town and then he made posts but didn't do that. He had the opportunity to pressure people by voting, questioning them, and/or lobbing accusations at them, but he didn't. He didn't take a stance on anything in the several posts he made. All he did was ask a general question to nobody specific, not care when he didn't get an answer, and then overreact to the pressure on him.
How is that not scummy? The overreaction in and of itself would be enough for my vote.
Anyways. I waited ten days to join this one, so I'm staying in this game on principle.
TIT strikes me as one of those players who can't hear.

I think if people used @ to address specific people and question I think it would help.....
@ TIT
- I have glanced at Wakes ISO and from the quick read it seems that he has asked specific people and answered specific question. I admit i should do a more exact reading but from what i have read it seem you are wrong about Wake not asking questions or putting pressure on people.
- Yes his behavior deserves scrutiny. Throwing fits is not townie or at least not good townie behavior. This is not necessarily scummy bc I have seen townies do this as well but i like I said I think that it needs to be considered with other valid evidence.

@fuzz: Ok I'm content with what you are saying.

hmm so right now I'm waiting for two things:
A) Wake to actually respond to my case instead of pretending it doesn't exist / is invalid
B) aptil, dbmaster, and magmaram to post

3 things actually
C) bulbazak to do something more useful

TIT
Hopefully they will respond soon. The game started on the weekend (atleast here in the states) so a lot of people were prob busy doing weekendy things. Hopefully people will start posting. I hate having subs since it can disrupt the flow of the game especialy if there are alot or it is toward the end of the game.
GM
Since you asked for my reads I think it only fair to ask if you have any reads yet
Wake
What is your take on TIT....Do you think he more likely town or scum. Also why should we not think your fit was not suspicious or even scum behavior.

There's no valid argument against me. Period.
In the game of Mafia, there's usually one paranoid leg-humper who fixates on some regardless of how wrong or right he is about that person's alignment
Here, I'll shoot down your case. Post exactly what makes me Scum, and I'll unravel it completely. Does that sound fair?

I do, actually. I thought I'd been fairly obvious with them.
Significantly, I have a scumread on Wake, a very light townlean on Bulba, and a slightly stronger townlean on TIT.

The below chain of events is what has me most convinced that Wake88 is scum at this point.
I lay out why I thought he was scum originally, and rather than simply showing why I'm wrong like I'd expect a townie to do, the little bit of pressure causes him to freak the fuck out and he starts accusing me of "paranoid death-tunneling" (?) posts other illogical crap.
In post 63, townistown wrote:
2. post 27 was awful. wake continues to not put pressure on anyone, and asks a question that makes it look like he's doing something when in fact it wasn't really relevant to what was going on. most notably, he doesn't ask the question to anyone specific, leading me to believe that he didn't really care about the answer. sure enough, nobody answers his question and in his next post, 55, he doesn't care. he doesn't re-ask, or anything. he's asking questions to blend in while he doesn't really care what the answer to them is, and he hasn't taken a stance on anything at all yet or put pressure on anyone.
In post 66, Wake1 wrote:And #63, people, is an example of paranoid death-tunneling.

What do you mean by this?
I looks like you are suggesting that me making a single post about why I thought that person was scummy = me tunnel-visioning a random person I don't know.
That's an overreaction if I've ever seen one.
In post 70, townistown wrote:I like how he doesn't even address my point logically and instead chooses to handwave. Scum.
In post 76, Wake1 wrote:Yeah, TIT. I'm Scum because I don't respond 100% to your satisfaction. Here, have a newflash: that doesn't make one Scum. Don't like it? Sue me.
In my years of playing I've seen groups of people come and go with opinions of what proper play and Scumhunting are. It's too bad their opinions are so different and oftentimes crap. Anyways, I don't mind playing, but if people are going to be annoying on purpose, well, don't expect any favors.
...TIT, your argument is flimsy. You've got no case. If'd like to embarrass yourself further be my guest. We've got more than enough time and Iwould appreciate the entertainment.

...which shows that hes nervous and jumpy (scum trait) in addition to my original point of him not really trying to interact with people or apply pressure, contrary to what he said in his first post of the game.
