Ok time to say something.
I have never played with Ven before so I can't really go with the "he looks like town Ven" argument, but he does look good atmo.
@orc: why would it be stupid for scum to claim hated? Why do you think phok is scum?
@Kaze: I will answer your questions in a bit.

MTD! Why'd you avoid the early votes on Orci? Why didn't you comment on them or kanye's
8?
See? I got dis.
Kaze! Why the hell not? Like it is I was the second vote on you and I would have been the third on orc, I don't see why one wagon should be so much better than two early on.
why should I comment on ther being two votes on the same person? That's extremely common afaik. And kanye comment was just not worth commenting on.

just a suggestion: next time you want to pressure me, actually pressure me, don't do this kind of shit because it's useless as jack
In retrospect I can't tell if this is dirt throwing or if this is just an attempt at a witty comment, but it certainly is counterproductive to town getting out of rvs
probably bad town though. not part of my case.

VOTE: orci L-1, #comeatme
Disliked this vote. As we've said, "acting scummy" is a misrep both of my attempts and of om's read. Once that's taken out of the picture, there isn't really a good reason to be putting me at L-1 aside from reaction testing, which evidently isn't what was going on
A+ for effort.
i'm a lot of things but i'm not cute.

2. Why is he then?

1 it was not of nowhere. I've played with kaze enough to know his town rvs and his schedule. He wasn't here when I expected him to be. Also I just assume that you don't know what a slash actually does, since your argument was scummy+ trying to get game started, and you used scummy or trying to get game started
2) for trying to get the game rolling, not for purposely acting scummy
1. Okay then. And no, I do know what slashes are used for, I just assumed you disagreed with only one part of what I said (and evidently you did, seeing as you just confirmed that you were only trying to get the game rolling and not be scummy (even though that's how you really were
))
2. Meh, okay
So this post is a load of waffle. Response to 1) is just strange. His argument seems to be (correct me if i'm wrong here, I had a hard time reading this) that I'm only disagreeing with one part of his "orci is scum for acting scummy in order to get game moving"...but it seems to me that if I disagree with the part where I purposely act scummy, you are left with "orci was trying to get the game moving" which sort of doesn't stand as a reason for scumreading me anymore, does it
So he does this weird backing off/termination of discussion without saying anything, leaves his vote on me, and proceeds to post fluff. I dunno. I expect people who L-1 RVS wagons to be aggressive. This was like a little rat scurrying away. The dissonance here leaves me to think scum.

In what world would scum have anything to gain from claiming hated? It's stupid as hell. Hated is a role that is /designed/ to get nightkilled or policy lynched before lylo. If you're claiming, then you go for the latter option. Which is shockingly counterproductive to scum wincon of, I dunno,
surviving.

not really convinced by a phok vote right now to be honest, orc's case is hard to be convinced by cause he put points in it that he said himself doesn't make phok scummy, so idk why he puffed up the reasoning with fluff.
i'll be back with a vote in a bit

Eh, you are right about that, however in the actual situation you were the only one to bring up a policy lynch, so while it makes sense, I don't know whether everyone (including the scum in question) would think of that.
But you are right, it would be stupid.

Yes they are, but I didn't have a reason for the vote, that's the R in RVS.

If you were referring to kanye's comment, I really don't see what I could say about that, it was a comment, that might have been relevant at another point in the game (not necessarily, though), but in that context it just seemed (and still seems) to be a joke.

@Orc: Here's the thing though -- if Venmar had stuck with his claim of hated townie then sure, I would say he's definitely town. But he retracted it. So he wasn't
really
putting himself in danger of getting policy lynched, was he?
Meta questions I now have:
1. Is Venmar the type of scum player to gambit like that? How about when he's town?
2. Is Orc being super touchy early in the game a playstyle tell or an alignment tell for him?
If anybody has answers to these already, I'll listen. But I will try to look them up myself.

Christ
You realize that I just did a complete commentary on phok's ISO and commented on everything that came to me at the time, right?
You said I puffed up the reasoning with fluff. By which I assume you mean the first comment I made on phok's RVS. So talk to me about the reasoning itself instead of dismissing it for a silly-ass reason

I don't know if I should be impressed by a whole ISO comb over then? I still don't see why you would need to do a whole ISO commentary, and usually when people stride out to to make everything about a person scummy (or in someway try to), including me in a handful of games, their target actually ends up being town. This is just from experience, unless you would like to point me to some of your games where your ISO witch hunt is effective?
While not impressed by the prospect of a phok vote right now, it doesn't mean that I think he is town, quite the contrary as I have my own reservations on him that are separate to that of orcs, such as phok calling me Venny despite me not even knowing him. Bert did something similar once by cuddling up to me while being scum himself.
Right now, Orc and Kaze strike me as town, with a "maybe" on FakeGod.

I'm not trying to make everything about him scummy. I go through all of someone's post and interpret them as town/scum (which is why I included the thought that I thought the RVS was more indicative of badtown then it was of scum)
Point out games where I caught scum using ISO? Uh. Idk. Any of my pre-hiatus town games? Weak question.

1. Maybe?
2. Maybe?

So, Orci's case on phok sucks...yet Orci is town and phok is scum anyway?
And why the maybe on FG?
It's for sure pronounced "Cane".
Do you have a reason for this?
