I am Gambit, a cop type role. I follow people at night, and have a 50% chance of seeing the crime, but if i follow Magneto, I would be killed. I have pinged 2 people succesfully (neither in the group left alive) I pinged Jeep last night pending scalebanes vote on him day 2, I pinged scalebane nigt 2, unsuccesful, and I pinged Prizm night one came up as innocent, but i was too late. Well, then I am the only townie without any night abilities.
I'm Juggernaut. I intended to come to the Institute to take out Xavier, my brother, but I have forgotten my helmet wherever it is I call my base and without it, I'm powerless.

I'd like to take this moment to point you towards the signup thread where
bloojay
linked us to a site from where he would be taking the roles. All roles till now have been from there. He only said he'd take others if he ran out of ideas. I still see a couple there unused.
As you might notice, Gambit
is not
on the list. Ben's choices till now also have been conveniently dead people. Co-incidence?

Very astute observation, Phoebus. I am simply going to have to say that out of all these rcs, I am most suspicious of BigBenWD. As Phoebus said, there is just something a little odd about his roleclaim. I suggest we hear from ben and then decide what to do. And I also am just going to throw a general
FOS Phoebus
out there. WIth Xavier dead, i don't see how your helmet being missing affects anytihng, but it wouldn't surprise me too much if in this game, juggernaut was somehow a townie.

The reason most of them are dead people, is because over 1/2 of the people in this game are dead!

True...true. Who are your suspects then?

It would help if kleimar told us his targets too. Did you get any notice if you managed to protect or block?

My night choses where:
night1: Blackhawk. (I do not know wheter he was blocked or protected)
night2: Jeep. (Since he made a kill that night, I think that I have protected him, perhaps even unwittingly saving him from the mafia as there was but one kill that night.)
night3: Mr. Gnome it all. (Again I do not know wheter I protected or blocked.)

I do not get any reply after my choses, so I have no idea when I am blocking and when I am protecting.

Good enough.
Personally, I think 3 killers (total) would be a limit for a mini usually and with the Sk and one mafia down, I'd think there would be only one mafioso left. 4/12 killers is a little too much me thinks.
I'm leaning towards voting for ben and seeing how it plays out.
Any reasons we shouldn't vote him?

MGIA, is most likely to be innocent, unless scalebane is a mafia too.
The storm claim from scalebane seems to be not very unlikely.
This leaves both Phoebus and bigbenwd who are most suspicious. (However it is highly unlikely that both are mafia by their behaviour.)
I think I can support a lynch for either of them, both roleclaims seem a bit strange. (Then again there are some strange roles in this game.)

Meh. I know I'm innocent. I believe Scalebane and kleimar gives off good vibes. MGIA being given as innocent is good enough for me.

I'll

As much as I believe Phoebus very possibly could be mafia, I am going to go ahead and
Vote BigbenWD
anyways. and if he turns out to be innocent, good games, mafiosos, whoever you are.

woah woah,
Vote:pheobus

unvote me before mafia vote me and win!
Pheobus, so your argument is meh, the others look innocent?
what is that?! sounds like scum craplogic to me, thats for sure. and you sure are in a rush to lynch me huh? just a few posts, then bam, you say hey, hes guilty... outta the blue. and think Bloojay might have like put a role that's not in there on purpose to see if i could get out of it or not? (which is what he did  ) and your claim is just townie? it seems that everyone here has a real ability, except you... why would that be? why would you be the ONLY one without any night abilities whatsoever? I know, because you couldn't make one up, because you're scum.

If I were mafia, why would I build a defense and vote against my teammate? especially when so few people are left, and it takes so few to lynch. and who said ther were four mafia? know something we don't scalebane?

and, in response to one of your questions, I never stated that there were 4 mafia. I simply said that I believed there to be 3 and we've only killed off one. For some reason, I just struggle to believe a two person mafia group was around.

fos:scalebane
You would vote against your team mate to either give him an alibi when you were lynched or give yourself an alibi when he was lynched. You'd know for sure that no other scum mate could get incriminated because there would be none.
However, I'm not your team mate and I'm also fairly certain that there won't be more than 3 individual killer roles in a mini, especially in one where one of the mafia could explode and take two (or was it three?) others with him. Those numbers just don't work out. I'm sure our mod has learned his lesson from Justice League Mafia and hence the innovative roles with Xavier being SK. Those lessons don't pertain only to role names but ability balancing as well. I'm sure you can see that for yourselves.

And as to the question about me being townie with no abilities, if I were scum, I would've just stated the fact baldly and given no explanation. I have not made up the 'forgotten' helmet part, the mod has for sake of gameplay. If I were scum, I'd probably have said something along the lines of I'm immune to all kinds of attack because of my belligerence or something. Remember that Juggernaut has some mystical power that grants him great resistance to injury. That is perfect for me to claim some sort of kill/lynch immunity if I were scum. I am not.
Without my helmet, I can be killed at night as well as lynched during day. My one weakness is exposed as my helmet was my source of power. No helmet = no power. It's a straight enough equation for me.

Vote for ben. I doubt you'll regret it. I'm 99.99% sure he's scum, the last 00.01% given out to randomness. If randomness wins, then like Scalebane said, well played scum, whomever you are...but even then I don't think all is lost since I'm also quite convinced 4 individual killers are a really high improbabilty bordering on impossibility.

The logics in Phoes' roleclaim seem so logical. (Kind of logical isn't it.) That I can only believe his innocence. That leaves but one possible sum:

Final Vote Count

bigbenwd-3 (Phoebus, Scalebane, kleimar)
Phoebus-1 (bigbenwd)

With the final votes almost certainly upon him, bigbenwd cooks up a claim...
"You can't lynch me, I'm Gambit!"
"He has a point...wait...you're not even supposed to be here! DIE EVIL EVIL GUY!"
As bigben is carried to the wormhole generator, he tries to magnetize it into not working. But it only sucks him in faster.
"CURSE YOU X-MEN!!!!!!"
bigbenwd, Magneto (Mafia Godfather), has been lynched.

It's night! Send choices...they're due by Sunday 6 PM CST.

Nothing Worth Mentioning Happens

Absolutely nothing worth mentioning happened last night. How strange...
It is day, 2 to lynch.

Well, phoebus is good as is MGIA if I can believe my investigations. So that leaves me little to believe except that I can't believe kleimar. More discussion needs to happen, but I can only feel that the town is so close to a victory.

Well, I don't know how much more there is to discuss, but if you think we need more discussion, I'm willing to sit on my vote for a while.

Current Claims

Me: Emma Frost (Kill immunity every other night)
Scalebane: Storm (Investigations)
Phoebus: Juggernaut (Nothing)
kleimar: Iceman (1/2 roleblock, 1/2 protection)

Well, all of these are possible roles, as they're all on the website mentioned earlier.
The only question is "Who's not telling the truth?"
Scalebane says Phoebus and I are innocent, and kleimar must be lying.
Another qusestion I have is "Why was there no kill last night?"
Who the hell is "General Failure", and why is he reading my hard drive?

The issue here is that nothing makes logical sense. Nothing.

The only one who could be (at least, according to my investigations) guilty is either myself or kleimar. I take that to mean that kleimar must be scum, but you may take that however you wish. I hate it when people insist on their own innocence, so I shan't. But then, if kleimar is scum, then why did no one die? did he decide to simply *not* make a kill? that would be needlessly absurd.

Regardless, I am simply going to state the fact that I just realized that the best course for the town after long discussion is a no lynch. Think about it. If we lynch wrong, then game over (assuming the evil makes a kill). Whereas, if we no lynch, then we have a 1/3 chance tomorrow instead of 1/4, and I like those odds much better.
