No votes yet though. I just want to see how they continue to play.
Skitzer. Why am I in your 'concerns' list? I haven't done anything scummy.
You haven't done anything pro-town either.

This is weird and I don't much like the certainty. Perfect is a new player and we might very well be wrong.
What's weird about it? If anything him taking the pressure off perfect should make you happy if you really think he's protown. But if you're scumbuddies, the fact that he still suspects him would alarm you.

Also what certainty has he displayed? He hasn't confirm voted yet. If anything he's trying to prevent himself from allowing a mislynch while he's away. If he was that certain he would've kept the vote on him

Ok, now we know that you're here, and you had read the thread.
Radagast wrote:I just find the 'random voting' stage of the game a bit unusual. I play Mafia elsewhere and it doesn't happen. Give me time and I'm sure I will see the relevance of it. I was rather hoping we had progressed by the time I finally got here.

Anyhow. I hope to be around more now.
You had your time. The random voting stage has over now, you had read other players thoughts, and now you can start throw your opinion, we already have enough posts/thoughts to discuss, don't you think?

I just found his reasoning strange as I explain below. The latter sentence doesn't make much sense.

It seems faked to me. If you think perfect is our best bet, why take off your vote? Fear of a mislynch doesn't strike me as plausible. Kerplunk is experienced enough to know that this generally doesn't happen on 3 votes. He seems to be trying to look pro-town while guaranteeing that he can continue to push perfect later.

It just don't feel right to me, to have a vote on someone while I am gone and not able to respond to changes. Or are you trying to vote for someone again on marginal suspicions?

And what makes you retract your vote from perfect? He has done nothing, except unvoting you. Also for reasons unknown. I might be paranoid, but I see a pattern here.

What reason was that might I ask? I have not done anything to look scummy or un-scummy as far as I am aware so your reason could only be based on the fact that I were fellow mafia and you knew that,

Well to be honest I was just having a read through the thread and funnily enough, guess who was provoking alarm bells to be sounding?

I was about to post that I don't see anyone as particularly scummy other than DGMavn with some posts on page 2. You have now strengthened my resolve that you are looking iffy. As you do not have a vote on you already I am going to bypass the
F.o.S.
bit and
vote DGMavn
.

Hope I spelled it correctly.

I will dig out (and quote) the specific posts I am referring to tomorrow, if necessary.

Please try to leave it at that? Thats sounds suspicious to me. You could of left it at the previous sentence but that last sentence sounds more like "If you dont calm down I will have to lynch you to avoid any cockups". The only option I can think that warrants that line is if you are scum and you are worried hes about to show you up.

I don't get what you are saying, Porochaz. Overeager Defensiveness in not a good thing. Although I'm glad he's vowed to calm himself. I have awful reasons for voting, anytime I vote.

I didn't read it like that. It seemed to me to be just sound advice from one player to another.

@ Radagast: over-defensiveness is not good, but you seemed to have calmed yourself :)

@ DGMavn: you say that radagast has not done anything protown, however on day one it is fairly difficult to determine whether anything is pro or anti-town. Can you name some other people who have done pro-town things?

I had a read back and it seems likely that most of my suspicions of DGMavn were based on the fact he was voting for me (page 2) without good reason. Perhaps I do play a little over defensive. I have calmed.

For the time being I will
unvote DGMavn
but he will remain top of my scum list until I see reason to put someone else there.

My point was that he had not done anything - he had shown up and posted a few times without any real content.

It was a bit wishy-washy... for me,
FOS: Kerplunk
for his on and off vote. But somehow, I too found perfect's answer not too satisfying:
perfect628 wrote:well vitamin stopped seeming scummy 2 me a)because it didnt seem like he still wanted the real yet random lynch and b)because it was a semi-random vote to begin with.
We can't just stopped seeing someone scummy, there's still a possibility he's scum. If you said that vitamin's not too scummy at the moment, maybe I will be more satisfied with your answer though... Heh, now I'm the one that feel confused after saying these thing...
