would a mafia member really unvote their teammate like that? as you said Accountant, no one is going to pitch in the last few votes on Char because it'll make them seem very suspicious. So a mafia player would ideally keep their vote, right?

It won't make them seem suspicious if they do it the proper way, with intent to hammer, asking for claims, and so on. For something like quickhammering, that would indeed be suspicious.

What do you mean by this?

I meant that on day 1, a mafia member has no reason to unvote their teammate, right? No one is going to lynch anyone for real, so there's no reason to unvote?

That's not true. People lynch on Day 1 all the time. In fact, lynching on Day 1 is strictly optimal, and there's no telling when you holding your vote on a partner might turn into a real wagon that gains steam. Of course, some scum intentionally do this to look good when their partner flips scum ;)

It's better to lynch day 1 because it is town as a COLLECTIVE deciding the lynch first and gaining information that THEY WANT vs. 2 mafia choosing who dies.

So yeah, we'll be lynching today.

Just not super fast. :P

thatsit feels like noob town btw.

Norska had questionable actions, but I'm dismissing them as null for the time being since he's new to the website.

Hi all. Not feeling very well today, sorry for being here late. I'm sure I'll be okay later today... my immune system is pretty strong.

Anyways:

Norska's comment about having already made a mistake didn't sound genuine to me. My gut tells me it was an excuse. It very well could have been genuine and I could be wrong but it's the best I've got to go on right now.

VOTE: Norska]

@Norska: Have you played mafia on other sites before?

Charloux, why are you still on your RVS vote? Do you not have any scumreads?

Don't push your meta norms onto me, i play how i like. My vote is still there because there is no reason to remove it, and it's not harming anybody. And i definitely won't vote until i have more than a good feeling.

Post 114 implies that you do have a good feeling about
someone
. Is it so weak that you think your RVS vote is stronger than your good feeling?

Why were my questions bad, and why were the flaws that Morning Tweet identified in your answers a function of the questions rather than the way you answered them?

I corrected it to gut, and i meant in general; But i can see how my statement is misleading now that i read it. Well, there could be something in Norska's vote and quick unvote earlier...

His read centered around me making useless posts, if i understood correctly. So, i just redirected his attention to the reason i was making them(I was just answering your questions about something i myself said was currently useless).

Gut feelings don't spring from thin air. Shouldn't you be looking into what makes you have that gut feeling and see whether they're worth voting?

What's the difference between asking someone questions when he knows why he is being asked and when he doesn't?

Don't deflect. Having a "gut feeling" and not explaining it is a classic scum tactic. You could turn around later and use it to push a mislynch on anyone, claiming your gut was scunreading them all along. Or you could plod along refusing to give any real reads(which might make you look bad or incriminate your scumbuddies) while pretending you have some because
gut
. Take responsibility for your own words and lay your "gut feeling" out for town to see. Only scum hates transparency, and only scum hates it when they get a spotlight put on their actions - which explains your disgust towards my questions.
