Hi everyone,

We're grateful that so many of you want to play the event. We severely underestimated the interest that there would be for Team Mafia.
Thanks for all of your prompt replies to the questions I sent out. The decisions we made were based on them.
We're making the following changes to the format:

TEAM SIZE WILL BE INCREASED TO 5 PLAYERS EACH

Teams that currently have a slot have until 1/18/2018 at 11:59 pm (Midnight) EST to find a 5th member. To add them to your roster, please have the new player and the team captain both send me a pm saying so.

WE MAY BE INCREASING THE AMOUNT OF TEAMS TO AT MOST 15. CONSEQUENTLY, THE OVERALL FORMAT WILL BE CHANGED TO FIVE {AMOUNT OF TEAMS}-PLAYER GAMES

While we want to accommodate more players, we also want everyone to be comfortable with the game sizes and for the games to be balanced.

15 was the maximal size of comfort for many players so we will not be going above that.

The challenge now lies on us to create balanced and fun games for 14 to 15 players. Our team is working on this. If we are not able to meet our standards for this over the next couple of days the total amount of teams may remain at 13. We will announce the exact number as soon as we can.

Signups for the remaining slots will still open at 1/18/2018, 12:00 pm (Noon) EST and will remain first come first serve.

All apologies for the delay, the format change, and the potential team restructuring hassle, we hope this won't be a major inconvenience.

The additional 5th game will be another Closed Normal

, so the game lineup will now be:

1 Open setup
2 Closed Normals
Invention Mafia
Magical Stories

I'll be updating all relevant posts shortly.
I've recieved questions about the complete ruleset - that will be going up within the next couple of days.
